    This is not Sacramento.

So, let's say we draft an undersized guy like McLemore or Shabazz or Oladipo, and we play him at SF, and they have to guard LeBron or Melo. They can handle them on the wing, but if they get posted up, we just double down and rotate to the open shooter. I think it could work with a smaller, more skilled SF because of Monty's system. So since our team defense nullifies the opposing SF size advantage defensively for them, our guy is quicker and more skilled on the offensive end, so he should be able to take advantage of his counterpoint in that regard. That is a big + for us. The obvious minus to the scenario is rebounding, but if we can bring in another rebounding monster next to Davis (Pekovic or Hickson or someone like that), we should be fine theoretically.

Something to think about considering the system that Monty runs... It makes the BPA model work, assuming Porter is off the board already.
It also highlights the need for us to have quicker players top to bottom. Like with McLemore's scouting tape from DraftExpress, they show him getting a great contest from like 20 feet away when the ball is passed with his quickness, length, and the crazy hops he has. Really aren't so limited in our choices going forward. Still. Having length is a bonus in Monty's system.

I thought Harkles played the 2. My bad.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Anthony Bennet is the player we need on this team. Although he needs to get in better shape and improve on defense, the kid is a MONSTER.

True. But he is also too short to play pf (6'-7") in the NBA. Most PF will shoot over him. That is why IMO he should play SF in the NBA. He'll defenitely need to lose some weight to get quicker. But with his strong body and aggresiveness on offense, he'll be monster for us and a handfull (too quick for PF, too strong for sf) for defenders.

He's undersized but so was a lot of big time PF's n this league. He's the same height as Paul Millsap just as long and a better athlete. Barring any injuries he'll be fine @the 4.

Thats the first time i have seen highlights of Otto Porter and he reminds me of Derozan. Is porter a sg or sf?

Heck ya, he isnt elite at anything but he is very good at everything, scoring, defending, rebounding, passing, shooting and he is clutch. Sure Bazz will be a better scorer by maybe 5 points a game but forget that, i would much rather a better defender, rebounder, passer, blah blah blah which will equal way more than just a PPG total.

Perfect glue guy, makes everybody on ur team better offensively and defensively since he has no weaknesses, demands respect, but also makes great passes.

Porter reminds me of Ariza if Ariza could actually shoot.

Porter is half danny granger half tayshaun prince.
Not as good as granger at scoring, but smarter and better rebounder and defender
Not as good as prince defensively, but better shot and better shot creator and passer.

i've heard comparisons to Kawhi Leonard & poor mans Granger. Very similar to Kawhi IMO - do-it-all guys for their college teams. lots of heart, hustle, energy, team oriented players who is above average at every aspect of the game.

one more for the road eh?

Only thing I worry about is how will scoring translate for guys like Porter and Oladipo.

I like this list and order. Add Oladipo after Bazz and before Noel though, and I'm down.

Porter is known for his midrange jumper and 3 pointer, his skillset and scoring will translate perfectly with gordon and rivers driving to the rim and have porter there for a 3 or mid range, this also spaces the floor for gordon and rivers and davis as well.

Thanks bro, let me explain why I have it in that order. Mclemore first because of his potential obviously, same for smart, porter 3rd because he fits us perfectly in what we need, he would be like replacing aminu with offense, but not losing hardly any D or rebounding. Now I love oladipo, but cant put him ahead of Bazz simply because oladipo is a junior and still has trouble creating his shot, look at bazz's stats and oladipo's as freshmen and bazz kills him, same for noel, dude is 18 and raw and plays next to 2 good rebounders in poythress and stein but STILL averages 10.5pts-9.5rebs-4.5blocks thats insane. But if u wanna see my extend my board it goes like this:

    mclemore
    smart
    porter
    bazz
    noel
    burke
    oladipo
    Len
    Zeller

Only thing I'm worried about is whether we'll be picking with him on the board.

Dude is just what the doctor ordered. I think y'all for putting me on his game. Still like Trey Burke, but we're better at guard than at SF.
