Can someone tell me why refs are scared to call fouls on superstars? I mean are they scared of them? its not like they are gonna punch u in the face, so no thats not it.
Are they fans of certain players? No that would be too obvious
Does the NBA tell them to make big plays happen for the super stars in big markets so they can make more money cuz in all honesty that is all the world is about to most people, money. Is that it? YES!

JJ would get destroyed again here cause he isn't a pass first/ decent D kind of PG.
I'm a fan of GV because I'm from Venezuela too but I understand when most of you look for another option, that's why I proposed the move to give Rivers more minutes but no way you let him start, you will burn him out. The guy is also progressing as a defender, that's amazing considering his age and lack of playing time, he'll be a starter in two more years if he practices hard the jumpshot

People say center is the hardest position to develop (usually taking 3 years to develop). Now people are saying its pg?

How about we all agree guys are coming out before they are ready, and they are all developing slower than had they stayed in a school and honed their craft.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Anyone realise that the dunk by AD was rewarded to Grevis Vasuqez???? NBA.com never changed it.. i guess grevis assisted himself aswell cos they kept the assist.

Is that why AD is off 2 pts?

Looking at the play-by-play and it gave GV 2 points for a "slam dunk"...... So does Davis really have 19? Will this get fixed or just left as is?

AD taking his lumps for sure. I really hope he remembers these days well when he gets bigger.

Stars have always gotten the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes, it is because they are just that much better than the other players that the refs assume there was contact (a lot of ref'ing seems to be based off assumption because of the speed of the game and athletes).

Sometimes they don't get fouls called against them because they are stars and everyone in the NBA knows that stars are who the paying customers want to see, so why foul them out unless it is something they must call? Remember how Pops got fined earlier this season because he sat his stars against the Heat on national TV?

It has nothing to do with big/small markets. The best players are the best due to their own ability but they will also get some calls because they bring in the money and fans.

Yeah, bigs are the slowest to develop while guards tend to be the quickest to adapt.

And players develop faster in the NBA than anywhere else (assuming they get playing time). Rivers would not have made this much improvement by staying in college another year. Same with Davis and any other rookie that is part of the normal rotation.

They do not have limited practice time in the NBA, have better coaches, better competition, and more minutes to play in a season. Players should jump to whatever league they can get good money and minutes in as soon as they can. They get better, quicker while also cashing in on their limited window as a professional athlete.

Lowry has a team option for next year. Toronto will exercise it since he's cheap and they just traded away Calderon.

    Augustin stinks. Vasquez is better.

I think our best option might be to trade for Bledsoe.
