Undersized 2 that is ultra athletic but can't shoot the 3. I never say it but the way smart can rebound, attack, play d, and pass really reminds me of a less athletic version.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Yeah but smart defends and it doesn't seem to be hardens strong suit which is half the game/ comparison. I think they'll all be their own player though. I like them both a lotZ

Smart reminds me of a "rich mans" Iman Shumpert with more PG abilities.

You see that too? I was thinking Shumpert and that Detroit guard Stuckey.

ya i hear u but i think harden isnt a bad defender at all, i remember when he made the olympic team over gordon they said it was cuz of his defensive abilities

Totally fine with that. But smart is way more of a scorer than shumpert which is why i said harden

I thought thy said it was bc he was more familiar w Westbrook and Durant and he was used to the role of coming off the bench? Guess it doesn't matter lol.

After last night we're looking at Shabazz more than Smart or Porter.

Though that's no reason to hit the panic button, I can't imagine that we don't drop a game we should win before the season is over basically making up for last night.

Shabazz isn't a bad prospect to pick up. Honestly if we can end the season strongly (NOT a playoff run, but a few good wins and here there) I won't complain because there are good "pieces" in the draft that can help the team in a number of different ways.

If we land 1 of smart, mclemore, porter, shabbazz in that order ill be happy as hell, if we dont I will be mad lol, even tho i love rivers i think smart is going to be a freak

He is a freak athlete for sure. I like how he changes his pace. Watch him next time and focus on his shifts of acceleration and speed, it throws off his defender and that's when he explodes and slashes to the rim. My favorite player so far.

A couple things about him, like u said he changes his pace but what i also like is he is so strong yet so agile in the air he can just hang and hit, also his passing IQ and intangibles are just insane, he knows where guys are without even looking like cp3 could do, could be looking at a better passing james harden right here and think him gordon and davis would be insane, with smart, rivers, gordon, and davis we would have enough offense, we would just need a SF who can hit the 3 constantly and a C who can defend and rebound

Yup and we have a really young front court (especially without JSmith) to build on. Maybe a veteran is needed at the C position would be nice so Davis can play the 4 comfortably. Smart Pelican!

Ya smart would improve our offense and defense, hes a better passer, scorer, and defender than GV, our team would improve every which way. If next year we could luck out and land someone like wiggins or parker at the SF spot holyyyyy cow

  16. #666
we just need to keep taking the BPA regardless of position, besides PF, its possible we could land a pg better than rivers and a sg better than gordon, however i think its impossible we can land a better PF than davis lol, anyways keep taking BPA, split up their minutes let them play they are young then a couple years down the road when davis is peaking we trade one of them for a key vet. like how okc did with jeff green and perkins, or harden for a deep bench

starting to think smart, porter & bazz will all be gone before our pick...

Yeah a select few players I really like in this class are starting to improve their stock at the end of the regular CB season. After the tournies who knows?

Okay so let's say Porter leads Georgetown to Big East title and Final 4 at least. Possible #1 pick?

Win last night really hurt :s We still have time though to lose, and anything can happen in the lottery.

I just...can't get behind him and I don't know why. No matter. I doubt he lasts to us unless we win the lotto. Again.

I don't know man, depending on who's available at the time and whether the pels can deal down (unlikely in this draft).
