    Washington .328, New Orleans .333, Cleveland .339.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Washington can't reach the 33% with how many games they've played but we are both exactly 8 games from the 1st pick. I think that's how it works.

I am just going with the here and now. At the end of the season it might look different but for now we are all by our lonesome with nobody to thank but ourselves and a desire to land a top 5 pick.

  4. #104
like most seasons the team with the most chances never ends up selecting at #1

  5. #105
Ah, but we don't need #1 to get a quality player. We only need to finish in the bottom 4 to get an Otto Porter, McLemore, Oladipo, or Smart.

Exactly, I have a feeling we will get the 2nd overall pick, idk why, mclemore will go first and we will have our choice of otto, shabazz, oladipo, or smart

I think the number 1 would be more of a curse than a blessing this year.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Smart all the way if that's the case.

Disagree, we could trade back and land 2 studs or we could stay right there and take ben mclemore and finally be able to be rid of Gordon, if we land the 1st pick again that would be incredible for us, remember we can always trade it

    Disagree.

Point 1: We could trade back and land 2 studs
Are there any teams in the draft that have 2 Lotto picks (No unless you count the suns with tha Lakers pick, but that won't be a lotto pick after the end of the week). Unless you're talking about taking on a Vet and a lotto pick, and that would certainly be a very unique situation.

Point 2:We could stay right there and take ben mclemore and finally be able to be rid of Gordon.
I don't love Mclemore, and not even sure he's a consensus number 1. To be frank, i'm not sure there IS a consensus number 1. It's always tough to have that pressure to have the #1 and be the #1. I'm not sure the Hornets don't take Smart or even Porter.

Point 3:Remember we can always trade it
take 2 to tango.Last time a #1 overall was traded was a full 10 years ago. i'd say it's unlikely.

Also, i'm not saying it's a horrible thing, I could have explained it better. I mean moreso that i'm just as fine with not winning it as winning it. There's not Irving/ Davis in this draft so it doesn't really matter.

I saw Porter last night. He looked very Granger like with his passing the ball, and some of his moves.

A big 3 of Porter, Davis, and Gordon (for the same of argument) with Anderson, Rivers, GV, and Lopez...that works. That's a winning team.

The crazy thing about Porter is he's listed at like 200 lbs but he doesn't look near as lanky as Prince. I think he can put some size on.

  13. #113
Yup, porter doesn't jump out at u as athletic, but it doesnt matter, james white can dunk and look how great his career is, porter can do EVERYTHING, he is a glue guy that without a doubt makes a team better and doesnt hurt u at all to have him on the floor, he has no weaknesses, he can shoot, drive, rebound, defend, block, pass, and has an incredible bball IQ, and he is clutch.

I'm watching the celts game right now. I've been in love with Avery Bradley. Love that Defense.

Not only that, his jumpshot is coming around, but ya his on ball defense is elite.

And just like that, 6th worst record.

Long season to go, we had to come away w a last second drop, i think we will drop to 4th or 5th by the end of the season and luck out in the lottery and get somewhere between the 2-4 pick

  19. #119
We r currently at 6th worse but only a half a game out of 3rd worse....our remaining schedule is brutal...wizards have a bunch of winnable games on their schedule....I'm still predicting us to finish 3-4 worse and wind up with the 3rd pick behind Charlotte and Sacramento with Orlando going 4th

Irving out for 3-4 weeks. I wonder what position Cleveland will end up with now.

Breaking News N/H or N/P... Looks Like Cavs Are Shutting Down Irving

    SportsCenter‏@SportsCenter
THIS JUST IN: Reports: Cavaliers All-star G Kyrie Irving to miss 3-4 weeks with shoulder sprain.
I know there were rumors they may shut him down... this certainly looks that way... season ends in just about 5 weeks

It won't improve their odds. Watch them lose a spot or two in the lottery cuz someone below them leapfrogs.

    Moved above Cleveland.

    Washington .323, Sacramento .338, New Orleans .338, Phoenix .344, Cleveland .344, Detroit .348

Why don't we Tank.. Trade Gordon for top 4 pick somehow, Draft Noel and Mclemore

If only that could happen <3
