And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

What people are doing is defending the premise that vasquez is the only capable of being crossed over.
It's just as pathetic as the "Fire Monty" chants/rants AND calling the guy names by fans who are clueless to basic basketball coaching!
Monty as a coach, fans don't know what he wants bcuz players have to EXECUTE!
Greivis Vasquez, fans can actually see when a player doesn't execute properly!

There's a difference but yet fans key in on Monty's IQ

Davis played every minute of the first half, I believe. He looked a little winded the last minutes of the half and then near the end of his stretch in the 2nd half. When he gets stronger and can handle the constant rigors of the game while also asserting himself physically, I think nights like this will be par for the course if he chooses to make them so. Bright future.

In Fairness, GV is working his butt off to be as good as he can be. Yes he is slow, yes he plays hero ball. But frankly we have noone else to play the point and he unfortunately is probably our best off the dribble player, with a decent J.

Montys defensive scheme isn't working, his offensive scheme is still appalling and his rotations and play calling are very dubious. I don't really like GV at a player but he's doing what he can with his skillset, Monty has a decent player development ability, but that's not and NBA head coaches job.
