Yeah I see his foot kinda hit Gasol's foot. But my goodness, who in the heck is the guy narrating this video?

How did AD looked while playing? His numbers were crazy. If he continues to plays like this he may be able to snatch the ROY from Lillard. That would be sweet lol

I didn't get to see the game but this is so encouraging. I've had some concerns about his rebounding but it seems like he's getting it now. Good passing, good shooting, good filling the lane on the breaks. Just got gershbumps! ERMAHGERD

And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

From the look of just those highlights, davis looked calm and poised shooting that mid range. Think the game is starting to slow down for him.

If aminu isn't on this team and ad plays 30+ min. He is gonna avg 14 reb

The best thing about those highlights?

In my opinion, it's the lack of dunks taken for those 18 points. The dunks and alley-oops will come with Vasquez's better vision or a better PG. His midrange and touch off the glass is awesome to see. The one move I want to see more than anything this summer is a low post jump hook. He always goes for a fall-away when on the low post.

Definetly, aminu is a freak at rebounding, just knows how to do it, every night he is snatching up like 12 rebounds it seems like, take him away and i could see davis averaging 20-13 next year

  11. #211
Also davis seems unstopable when he is facing up from the high post, he can shoot the mid range so u cant sag off and he has elite quickness for a power forward and dribbling and layup so u can play too much in his face, kid is gonna be so good.

    In Basketball,
Tripping over someone's foot while defending a pick-n-roll is funny as hell and shows Vasquez lack of defensive IQ and his big lumbering feet!
•From Biddy Basketball you are taught to use your perifial vision, plus along with talking help from your teammate yelling the direct the pick is coming from(pick lft or pick rt), Vasquez should've used his elbow placing it in the pickers chest, stepping over the pickers foot by fighting thru the pick.
Problem 1, Vasquez feet are heavy & slow which caused him to slid his foot, which he should've stepped "over" the opposing players foot!
Problem 2, no defensive athletism plus no defensive vision

    FYI
Tripping over someone feet while defending a crossover IS embarrassing! Fans can't defend a players play on defense when he doesn't move his feet and he doesn't pickup his feet properly while defending!!

I don't think anyone was really 'defending' it per se, just showing what and how it happened. We know Vasquez is slow but even players way better than and nowhere as slow as Vasquez have gotten crossed over.

Surprisingly enough our team defense only drops 5 points when GV is off the court. Let that sink in.

Our entire team is lousy on defense if GV's sitting only brings you from 108 to 103.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Hello Knight vs Kyrie Irving in the all star game.

It's not a defend. It's just not all that you're trying to make it out to be. Was that the first time Vasquez has been crossed over in his career? I doubt it. Will it be his last? I surely doubt it.

Tony Parker has been crossed over. Deron Williams has been crossed over. It is no doubt embarrassing I'm sure.

If Vasquez and Knight don't pickup their feet properly while defending a ball handler, you shall see the same result!

•You and others are trying to explain "what" happen, I'm telling you "Why" it happen! #scouting

Ask any basketball coach or player, why players get their feet crossed up defending? And they would ALL tell you the player isn't moving his feet properly, defending on the balls of his feet, picking them up properly.
(Heavy feet or fatigue on a good defender will cause for loss of focus/technique in his defensive stance!)

Yet, you still try to defend Vasquez by bringing up other players who have been cross up before but none of y'all players mention are known for defense, let alone Great defenders!

    FACT

You're not the only one that knows how and why things happen here. It happened. I just don't think it's worthy. You know why I don't think it's worthy? Because it happens to just about all players regardless of how or why.

Wow dude... this is pathetic. You're acting like Vasquez is the only person to be crossed over in the history of the NBA. We all know "WHY" it happens. You act like you've just informed the world of a cure for cancer. Chill out. No one is defending Vasquez's poor defense. What people are doing is defending the premise that vasquez is the only capable of being crossed over.

It's worthy for sure! Especially in the Basketball Community

It was embarrassing, and when YOU saw it, you was embarrassed and you automatically started looking for the reason to help defend both you & his embarrassing moment!
Bottom line, Greivis Vasquez didn't pickup his feet!

Obviously you don't know me because I didn't automatically look for anything. You're ridiculous with your know it all and condescending attitude.
