Since you're bringing this up, if anyone has any ideas for articles they want done for their team, I may be interested in doing more of these longish types of articles if possible. Just want ideas and inputs from other GMs to make it more collaborative. I'm also thinking about doing a fictional story on how we ended with this league (ex: total collapse of the actual NBA leads to formation of HRFBB version of the League) for ****s and giggles but thats just more of a hobby piece
I was thinking about a State of the League address. With the new additions we are so much better off than we were even 3 months ago.

I don't think I really have any moves I regret. All the crappy moves I've made have led to another move somehow which lead to the team I have now. But I guess giving up on Michael Finley. I tried to go younger via Terry and he ended up walking. Meanwhile Finley continued to put up 18-20ppg

I'm already regretting trading for Sprewell and Wallace. Saving graces = tony Allen and 07 warriors pick (and the fact sprewell may retire... Fingers crossed). Wallace has been a fouling machine.

I have signed probably the 3 worst contracts in the game... Courtney Alexander, Ernest brown and latrell Sprewe but i ended up being able to trade all of them and get some pretty good value in return all while guiding my team to 2 straight WCFs

Nah, I went to him. After we couldn't get something done for Finley, I got desperate thinking I had to make a move to keep up with the Jones's.... when in fact, I was the Jones that everyone was trying to keep up with. I rushed to make a move and know next time to not **** with **** when it's not broken.

I sort of regret not trading Finley, but I didn't want to start trading pieces like I'm the lakers.

Yeah because the 2 seed is a terrible spot to be in.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

So? Ended up in a good spot with TRADES TRADES TRADES. If the end result was a result of the path that it took to get there, why criticize the means that it took to get there unless you're criticizing to criticize.

Because that's not how I plan to build my team. This was about finley, and I simply stated I wasn't going to make 5 trades a season, like you do, so I kept finley.

But it was one trade, not 5. I had nothing to do with the conversation at all. If it were just about Finley, you would have kept it about Finley .. You just took a shot to take a shot. Why dress it up as something else ?

No offense, but I count 4 trades from Feb. to now. I'm leaving it at that before it escalates into something personal, which is where I think you are going with this.

I'm talking about your trade of Finley would have been one, not 5 trades. So it had nothing to do with me.

Also, I didn't take it anywhere, you willingly brought me into the conversation. Then compared me to guru which im sure was to take another shot which is fine. You've taken the all the shots here, not me.

I've said nothing about you or your management style, sir. And honestly I'm fine with people not liking how I run my team. I think you're a good guy, but if you bring me into a conversation, don't be surprise if I join in said conversation.

I regret never Drunk posting in the sim League. It looks like fun!

Lakers do trade a lot, that is fact. Having their first rounder, I was openly rooting for it to blow up in his face, but he's too good to let that happen.
