Why is Jen Hale interviewing Jody Meeks?

All who chanted MVP should be shot.

Nah. That would require him doing something smart.

He's holding his own team back for some reason. If he's worried about him getting hurt, forget to pretenses and just shelf Davis for the rest of the season. But if Davis is good to play, then play him.

I don't think Davis has played through any close games in the 4th since the Bucks game we lost way back in like November.

Every other time he's benched because Jason Smith hit a few jumpers or Anderson hit some 3s.

Not sure the terms of the contract but firing Monty is probably going to cost Tom a bunch of money and then turn around and try to hire a quality coach is going to be costly.
People are just now seeing what I have been saying for at least a year now . I got flamed alot .. But Monty is clueless on the sidelines . This job is to big for him.

Benson needs to bite it and just pull the plug or else nobody is going to go watch this team play . And Anthony Davis will be walking out the door in 5 years and not looking back
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

She must've jumped on the bandwagon too. I'm sure the Lakers have their own guys here to do Lakers interviews. Goodness gracious.

And no Hank Simms? Seriously Monty, what was he brought in for...to look at?

The season is a wash, put all your long term projects on the court, and leave the rest on the bench.

    here comes the Monty quotes...

    WWL-TV Sports‏@wwltvsports
Monty says Davis didn't much in the 4Q bc he didn't match up well w/ Dwight Howard's size. says, "I'm not going to do that."
    WWL-TV Sports‏@wwltvsports
Monty blamed the defense again. Said the young team needs to go through things like this.

a couple of thoughts: 1.) I have been questioning Monty's adapting to the ebb and flow of the game ever since he has been here.....weak on offensive X&O's and very questionable at getting the right guys in the game at the proper times.... to make it even worse, the defensive edge does not belong to us anymore either.... 2.) for whatever reason (physical or mental), Gordon is not the offensive player we were all hoping he would be (not here anyway). Unbelievable, but he doesn't get to the line for the 2nd game in a row.... and 3.) even though he is on a great contract, Robin Lopez needs to back up to the pay window for tonight's performance.

Well on the bright side with a kings win we r 4th worse now lol....this was obviously a tank job no doubt about it.i think they realize we are right on the brink of being in the bottom 3 and the wizards are only 2 games behind us so they are gonna try their darnest to get that bottom 3 spot..

For friggin' Otto Porter or Trey Burke? I like those guys alot but they aren't really going to get fans into the arena.

Even in most years, it's no consolation that we're in a better draft slot. Because today's problems can spill over into next season. And teams that annually finish high in the lottery are not teams you wanna be.

Jen Hales was interviewing Meeks because she wanted to be around a winner for once.

    We suck.

I prefer Eric to gravy, and if Eric was playing like he was last season it would be alot harder to "tank"

so he'd rather defend Howard, who scored mostly on alley oops tonight, than defend the pick n roll, which was our demise. Lopez murdered us on the pick n roll every. single. play. And offensively he was killed by Dwight. Horrible.

I'm as disappointed as anyone else but who honestly wasn't waiting for it? Cause I was. Not sticking up for Monty, but another huge factor was terrible officiating, once again. Austin Rivers was an enormous spark in the first half that we lost access to in the second unfortunately, thus leaving Greivis in the entire 2nd half, this letting Roger Mason get manhandled and throw up his occasional head scratcher. The whole Davis ordeal is really questionable to say the least.

One positive though guys, this was an enormous learning experience:

No matter who's on the court, don't fall asleep on a lead.

Also why not change the half court defense to defend the perimeter while up by 20 POINTS instead of worrying about Howard getting a dunk or Kobe penetrating? Isn't the 3 more dangerous at that point in the game?

We just didn't make adjustments to the Laker's adjustments. We stayed within the constraints of the "game plan" and didn't stray away from it while up to keep the lead. AWFUL coaching.
Hold on there Jaws, you are displaying way to much basketball smarts for this organization. You better leave these decisions to Monty.

Like I said earlier, but he "does that" for arguably the most important defensive possession of the game?

Monty's just pulling crap from his butt at this point.

Robin Lopez isn't the problem. Dude has been playing way past his contract, and is a top 12 center (in his first year starting).

    I like him.
