I giggled when they put him in for 25 seconds to play defense. I mean seriously, EVERY reason you could have given for him not playing in the fourth was instantly irrelevant during that possession. Makes zero sense to me. If he's a good option for arguably the most important defensive possession of the game he should have been out there all quarter.

    It's as simple as this:

I no longer trust Monty Williams.

First time I've ever seen Monty have that "My job is in serious jeopardy" face.

It's worse. I feel like the 49ers game 2 years ago in the playoffs right now. Just angry.

I wanna hear him explain Davis' minutes!

Guys, the clear culprit here is none other than...Austin Rivers.

I dont understand why the mediocre guy with the max deal doesnt get nearly the same amount of hate

In the friggin' fourth quarter when the game was on the line, buddy. It isn't the quantity of Davis's minutes that is drawing ire. It's the quality.

He sucked tonight . And he gets his fair share of hate . I still believe nobody in the city really likes him
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

I say sit Gordon the rest of the season and give rivers 35 plus minutes a game. 15 is pathetic

I'm more of a Football guy than a basketball guy, but I'm a die hard hornets fan. However, I know some SE Louisiana football lovers who casually watch basketball and they are probably never going to buy a ticket after tonight lol. You've got to make smart decisions to win the fans over man.

If that was somebody like Demarcus Cousins he probably wouldn't have even gotten up off the bench to re-enter the game at that point. I had to turn it off with like 3 something left because my mood gets really foul when I witness bull.

He took alot of bad shots. He didnt really attempt to drive like he normally does. Not a good night for him at all

Davis's quality was worth alot more than Lopez. Also Lopez played alot of minutes that he's not used to. The coach out smarted himself.

Good Ole' Tom got some bad advice again and signed this moron Monty for another 5 years. If he would have just waited one year and watched the operation of his new business and the people in place from the previous ownership he could have made a lot better decision. Not sure the terms of the contract but firing Monty is probably going to cost Tom a bunch of money and then turn around and try to hire a quality coach is going to be costly.

Monty didnt change the lineup for the whole 4th qtr . The same lineup that didnt score or defend at all

    Well that was typical hornets.

Glad the max guy came to win(...wheres that fart sound button).
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

If anyone can link Montys post game press conference, it would be much appreciated.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

    Game Thread: Lakers @ Hornets

We let Kobe have 41? Points with over 50% shooting. That alone is going to hurt sooner or later in the game regardless of the point differential. When a player is on like that the type of shots he will open up for his teammates is unreal. Not to mention we had a lot of senior moments on defense tonight, like more than a fair share.
