This team is just so depressing to watch, they invent new ways to lose and Monty cannot draw a play up to save his life. We need a major overhaul and fast. They might have had 5000 people at the game tonight. I got season tickets and I can't even give them away, who wants to watch this garbage?

Monty out thought himself calling a play for Roger Mason and not Ryan Anderson or Gordon

He called a play for all 3, and Gordon and Anderson came open. Mason was a decoy.

Two options but instead Vasquez threw up that poor three.

That's two poor threes late in the game. Hero ball.

I think the play was ran for mason and he was covered and Vasquez took it upon himself to just keep the ball once his first read didn't get open...dude is sorry as all heck....HE GOT 8 ASSIST THO!!!!!

Anderson was open? Watch the last 3 seconds again, his man never was more than 2 feet away from him (I know because I was wondering why GV took the shot). I don't know where Davis was, but Anderson was locked down.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Orlando had lost 31 of their last 35.

Now they've lost 31 of their last 36.

    Sigh...

Whoever wants to see GV running PG for this team next year needs to have their head examined.

Gordon was open. Anderson has hit shots over guys all year. More often than Vasquez...

We talk of the Magic as if they are horrible. Now they don't have the names we have, but they are only 2 games behind us.

  11. #236
    Ping pong balls at least

Maybe he has, but his man was on him. He can shoot over his guy all he wants, but when your man is in your pocket it's hard to make the shot.

    Vasquez FTW...nm

Haha I knew this guy would be on here defending Vasquez's antics

    ....

    That's how I see it.

I will update our standings later.

How did we lose that lead is the question we should be asking.

  17. #242
Lmbo! I hate to be in that locker room right now. I bet Monty is chewing the hell out of Greivis.

  18. #243
I want Monty to do to Greivis the same way he did Aminu early in the season. Sit his *** on the bench! He cost us too many possessions tonight especially in the 2nd half. **** poor performance indeed. Hero ball gets you nowhere Greivis. Ask Magic, MJ, Lebron and Kobe.

  19. #244
    As he should be.

But was the blown 17 point lead on GV? The entire team blew it. Not just one guy.

  20. #245
Vasquez 8 assist and 4 to...dude is just horrible get over it Vasquez apologist...he won't be here next year so I'm not too worried....the way things r going we will end up in the bottom 3-5 teams like I predicted. So we will have a good shot at smart to take over at pg. Vasquez can't drive and dish. He can't stay in front his man to save his life. It gets the rest of our defense out of position having to come over n help non stop. I just can't for the life of me understand some ppl on here backing Vasquez like he is good. Very confusing.

  21. #246
Also, this team misses way too many FTs.

Yea it still pis.ses me off to lose like that cuz I am a die hard fan. I just get over it very quickly now cause we aren't going anywhere anyway. More ping pong balls the better right now. I'm dying to get Marcus smart right now. Dude is the truth. A beast combo guard. I'll never root for us to lose but I'm over a loss in about 2 min now.

Yeah but I'm starting to get tired of sucking! We need some play makers bad! We need some wings that we know can score 20 a night plus an athletic point! I think Davis will eventually be a 17-20+ scorers in about two years but need some guys that can light it up inside and out.

All those people that were *****ing on @nolaslim because he said Vasquez has empty stats...this game shows exactly what he means.

Its all good when you can get the obvious pass and the obvious shot to pad your stats but more often than not when the game is on the line or when you really need him to make the right decison or play lockdown D...he cannot do it. No amount of empty offensive stats can change that. Of course people are going to call him the most improved player in the league this year because those type of awards are stats reliant. If you have any real basketball knowledge and just look at the games and truly analyze them. Don't look at his stats. Look at his decision making and how he plays against playoff tier teams.....he's not really as good as his stats tell you. Cuz as soon as he goes against a playoff team or a vet PG with playoff experience (i.e. Jameer Nelson)...he gets exposed...especially on the defensive side.

No one's saying he doesn't have the drive or the heart to play the game. But he is not a starting caliber PG we can be a contender with. No matter how you justify it with stats what you see in certain game situations is what really counts. He's a back up PG....and there's nothing wrong with that. People need to stop analyzing with their heart and be objective when it comes to Vasquez.
