Probably a point per letter grade variation.

    0 for F 1 for D 2 for c- 3 for c 4 for c+ etc

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I think he realized he's gonna have to do that the second he posted it.

I don't think anyone would but see the problem is that screencap isn't enough. That screencap is basically what we can see in LETTER form. What is actually the most help and what we really need are the actual ratings that make up each one of those ratings. For example for HANDLING we would see QUICKNESS, DRIBBLING AND PASSING.

But on that same note Kobe has a A- on Inside scoring but the numerical value is a 78. With an A- I would think it'd be much higher than 78. These numbers are VERY VERY IMPORTANT to have.

Depends on the scale, Grant Hill is B or B+ across the board, but it looks like all low 70's to me.

So, it looks like B+ = 70-74 or somewhere in that general area. Using that figure, the difference between a B+ and an A is huge. (About 15 points)

It's like BSH said. 0 for F+, 1 for D-, 2 for D+, and 12 for A+. I add them up for all my players and see who is the highest. Also add up each individual rating as a team and see whether I should run more/less trap/press and inside or outside more.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Question. AD, You said Antwan has a 100 inside game. Why isn't he A + like Kobe's defense?

It's ok. My schedule gets worse in the second half. I would be stunned if I ended up winning the division. My team isn't that great. Fool's gold.

I never used the ratings before this past season when deciding what to train between Eddie jones and baron Davis I was always going to train both their perimeter d and decide which one to train outside. Barons outside shot went up in tc I trained both of their perimeter def and saved the points to eventually pay my lux tax penalties so I've received zero advantage from it. And like wave and ad23 have said its been mentioned at least 3 or 4 times that you can pm commish to see specific ratings when deciding on which players to train and what to train.

I doubt anyone other than commish has used the ratings to build a team or set their lineup and if commish sees them he's gonna use them it's just human nature there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't use them honestly. I normally factor in letter grades, past stats, and what they did in real life.

Why does my team struggle against winning teams? Not enough offense? That's what I think. Especially from the front court players outside of Jefferson. Too dependent on Melo and Manu.

    AD23forMVP,

Is there anyway to export team pages like that into excel, even if it's copy and past? Just a thought.

This would allow each team to get there roster as it stands now, and they can just get updates from you at the beginning of each season and edit their excel document their selves?

Or if it saved as a CSV file that'd be useful

  21. #96
There has got to be a roster file in the game.

Tis unfortunate that the index doesn't allow number ratings. Thats a huge advantage over those who only have the vague letter ratings.

Yes, that too. Although if you have Windows 7, taking 28 screenshots isn't a tall order, and each individual team can just come up with there own system to track improvements.

To be honest, you can print screen and paste in a word doc and then post the word doc.

There are easier and more efficient ways to do that, but yes that will work. The only benefit of entering in the numbers yourself into excel or whatever is when you train or sign/trade someone, you just need to ask AD23forMVP about one player or that one stat. This will make it easier for him than giving you a new screenshot every time something happens in the league.

For example, AD23 always posts "PROCESSED" when he takes care of something. When he posts that he can just add into that post the new stats, or the stats of that player. Simple, really. And it would be up to each GM to organize and sort through their own team stats/information.
