"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

B+ is average for his position? I don't get to see all of those stats at all. So all I see is his inside game is slightly worse than his outside game.
Again, don't get to see these stats, all i see is A- and A-.
Iverson is going into the hall of fame as a 2. Jason Williams has an A- in Defense, how can I know he's a bad defender besides the A-? How can I work with numbers I don't have? trust me I appreciate the advice, but had i had these numbers before i could have built my team drastically different.
How would you assess my time?
Honestly, I think it's a fools gold right now. I don't buy 2nd in the west and top 5 overall. A lot of home games, 18-3 against below .500 teams and 4-10 against above .500 teams. A lot of guys with efficient stats but they disappear against good teams.
It seems like there is another layer to the stats that not many people knew were there. If letter grades are all we get, how are we to know which of the exact same ratings is worth a higher numerical value?
Not really according to the basketball principles i know. You run a faster pace with a lot of scorers. I have 2 scorers hence why i want them to take the lion's share of the shots. Faster pace and get Wallace, J Will, and Marshall more shots? I dunno, doesnt seem to be a good gameplan imo.
What game plan would y'all use with my players?
I guess I don't understand the thought of operating on a GM by GM system? I know this takes a ton of time and i appreciate you running this essentially for free, but don't you think the playing field is uneven operating like this?
The 2 people Admitted they've asked for them and you:
Hornets 2nd most wins all time
76ers 3rd most wins all time
Raptors 5th best team overall
Did the Celtics and Grizz get these ratings too to round out the top 5?
There are 28 GM's in this league who have every opportunity to ask to see certain ratings. I say that multiple times every season and every offseason probably, especially around the All-Star break and before the official start to the season. Some of those 28 GM's take advantage, some don't.
I think that's kind of the point though. Has this sort of service been offered somewhere on the boards? With all our by laws and detailed rules, has it ever been stated that numerical values ever existed? Good for those who stumbled upon it, but five seasons in and we are just now having a discussion about it. I dunno guys.
I can clearly remember 3 circumstances where AD talked about it and 1 other time where sound wave talked about it, but I agree that it should be posted somewhere where everyone can see it.
I knew they existed, i just didn't know they were readily open to be asked.
If I knew that the Letter grades weren't reflective of their actual rating, I would have built the team different. How am i supposed to know that Dirk has a terrible inside game with a B+ and Williams a bad defender with a A-? How could i possibly know that?
I openly discussed the fact that the handle rating are made up of handling, quickness, and passing ratings probably not even a week ago.
