Ya i hear ya but thats now, in a couple years river gordon and davis will be a pretty quick and athletic team, its just right now GV and lopez are slow, but i do hear ya, only thing is oladipo is listed at 6"5 he is prob 6"4, he couldnt play the SF, IF we keep gordon we dont really have a spot for him, now if we trade gordon and GV for a good SF then i would be fine with mclemore shabazz or oladipo.

Also im not gonna say we are that unathletic, Gordon, aminu and Davis, those are 3 very athletic people for their positions wouldn't u say?

Gordon has to get on the court to be athletic.

I am drafting Oladipo and trading Gordon as soon as the right ship comes into port.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

3/12 is not a good ratio for athletic vs unathletic. You look at OKC and they seriously have 5 or 6 solid athletes in Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka, Thabeet, and maybe you include Perry jones.

Ok look im not saying i am against athleticism, im actually a fan of it and have been craving it but it doesnt automatically mean u have a good team, look at the raptors and the wizards. Now look at tony park, ginobili and duncan, non athletic, its just a matter if u can play or not, sheesh.

Im assuming ur drafting Oladipo if we trade gordon for a good scoring small forward because without gordon and adding oladipo we have no scoring. or are u just saying u dont care who we get for gordon and draft oladipo anyway? Im all for drafting him IF we could land someone like damar darozan to play SF.

Only problem is it is way easier to find scoring shooting guards than scoring small forwards, if we have a defensive SG we will need a scoring SF, which like I said is hard to find, which is why I really want otto porter becuase i think he will be able to score like danny granger, how would u feel about trading gordon for derozan and valaciunas and drafting porter

Trade Gordon for a solid sf, and move onward and upward. Gordon will always be injured, so you get what you can and grab his replacement in the process.

I'm with you on that, I also want him traded, but it ha to be for another scorer, if not then make sure u draft a scorer then, like porter or shabazz

I'd trade Gordon for Porter in a second. The more I watch Porter the more I want him and with our pick get smart.
    Rivers
    Smart
    Porter
    Ryno
Davis - is a solid team to build around

How do you plan on trading Gordon for a top 3 pick. Please enlighten me.

You underestimate the power of the internets.

LOL. If all we could get was Klay Thompson from Golden State no way anyone is giving up a first round pick for Gordon, even if it is in the 20s.

Though, I since Sarcasm there, so I'll just stop here...

I've seen some mocks that smart and porter are gone before the 5th pick, but If one of them is still there around 8 or 9 I think it can be done. I do think we can get a first for Gordon if he stays healthy the rest of the way. Everything we put out is hypothetical anyway but I did think it out from both sides. From Golden State we took on a big contract and Detroit can get Gordon and another 14 mil free agent with 28 mil coming off the books and possibly compete in the playoffs next year. Would you be happy with Jennings, Gordon, Monroe, and Drummond if you were Detroit.

What a sexy team. Will be very fun to watch. By the way, Otto reminds me of a Ant Davis at Sf from how his body is made.

It's striking how he physically stands out. He looks more like 6'10" than 6'8" out there. But I'd say his base is a bit wider. And he doesn't at all look just over 200lbs. I would've said he was 215lbs minimum.

Otto Porter will be a Durant type guy, he wont be as good but thats his comparison IMO. I heard from a friend at school that he say he is still growing so thats a plus, a back court of him Gordon, Rivers and Vasquez is deadly in the future. So I take him over Bazz without a doubt.

During the game vs UCONN I also thought the exact same thing. Hopefully he has high potential just like Davis too

It's feeling more and more like we'll have to decide between Porter and Bazz. I hope they pick right

I can see a lot of scenarios where it wouldn't be just between those two guys.

If the draft was tomorrow burke has to be in the conversation. And I would also take Porter over Bazz.

I might be called crazy for this, but after watching the game yesterday I am not big on Burke at all. He just seemed flat-footed on D. At times it was like he didn't really want to bother. It wasn't necessarily a lack of quickness, but he was slow on rotations and getting in front of his guy. Also seemed to try and gamble a bit too much.
