The playing tomorrow night thing is not his fault though it's the doctors he wants to play. It will only last this season. But I am for trading him as well in the summer.

I can here it now: Gordon is amazing. Why would we ever trade him?

My answer: Does Eric Gordon play tomorrow night? Nope... that's why. lol
Does he not play b2b because of himself or because the team doesn't want him to.

I don't see why it matters. If the team doesn't feel confident he can stay healthy in Back-to-backs isn't that bad enough?

Yeah, Gordon has 20 points, but he also only has 1 assist and 1 rebound.
davis has blown a couple layups for him at the beginning...and he was making plays in the 2nd for guys to get to the foul line

ETA: I meant more of a Homer Simpson stare-of-into-space drool than this one, but you get the idea.

why do we even care if he plays back to backs this season??

again, we are not in a playoff race!!! this is a throwaway season!! be cautious and set yourself up best for next season...but i guess that is too rational

Yes really! Who can you name that is a banger now a days at center so much more than Smith. You gotta be kidding? Name one please. I left out Gasol and Cousins is somewhat. Smith bangs down low now as much to me as any other Center besides them.

Because I think that goes a long way to Eric Gordon being accepted as a player in New Orleans, and next season can be about winning and not about "Will Gordon play"

If anything it is boosting Rivers progression. He isnt a starter quality player by far yet but has gotten 25 starts this year. Those are all valuable.

It's good to see EG regaining his explosiveness !!! It's hard to not believe in a player like that ! I'll be patience and give him a shot. I mean when he is on the court he is playing hard every possession. He clearly fits in our system, I hope he is in the long term plan of this team !

So how about Roberts the last few games or so? Been fairly solid overall and has shown some willingness and competency to pass...

The announcers were saying that Gordon wants to play every game. He's been telling the doctors he's ready, but they won't clear him yet for precautionary reasons. It isn't his fault, so please don't make it out to be like that.

Pretty much every center in the NBA because smith isnt there. Lopez Bosh Horford Hibbert Asik even freakin Okafor. Satisfied? Do i need to go look at a list of all the centers in the nba now or have i named enough. Smith is a great compliment player not a starter, sorry.

I never said it's because of Eric Gordon. I view the team's lack of confidence in his ability to stay healthy as an issue people fail to recognize, I guess.

Bosh is a banger are you kidding? Horford not a banger plus he is 6'9. I value the 7' and defense more. He is everything Asik is with the minutes except rebounds. Like i said he speads to floor which is why I like him next to Davis. Yes I would like you to go down a list because there is no true Center who can bang and do what you want except a few.

You said MORE THAN SMITH which is pretty much every center in the NBA. Bosh at least has somewhat of a post game. Look obviously you feel pretty strongly about this, and i respect your opinion and perspective, but it is never going to happen. On to the game.

edit: never going to happen baring injury of course

Okafor? Sorry he is a SF size with PG hands. I take Smith all day who has gotten much bigger, doesnt miss fts, can rebound very well, and play good D. He is not the ideal starting Center which like i said also we cant afford. Smith is a perfect compliment to Davis and Anderson $ wise and skill wise. Davis will be Max and Anderson will always command around 8 hopefully. If we want to have players in other spots then you better hope Smith is here because we wont have anything closer to what you want.

Davis is limping. He's done for the night, I'm sure.

Wait what is never gonna happen haha? Us getting you banger down low who happens to be every Center but Smith now? Obviously you feel very strongly on this when all I have said is I think he is perfect next to Davis starting as he probably will be next year. Ill remember to come back to you on this never in the future.
