I think Gordon is overrated. Barnes and klay have more potential. Gordon is what he is. Too up and down and can't stay on court

This guy from Golden State of Mind talks about Thompson/Barnes in the 4th quarters. He doesn't seem to think Klay should be on the court in the 4th quarters as much as he is.

Just an interesting read on what one GS blogger has to say about these two. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't agree that Iggy is overrated. But....he isn't getting any younger and I think he would consider going to a contending team as opposed to a rebuilding one. If he comes here I think it would be a last option for him to be honest.

Lopez doesn't get rebounds! I would rather overpay for Pekovic and get the required toughness that could play along the side of Davis for the future. Plus, there are a plethora of big men in the draft, that would go in the top ten. Lopez is expendable and is one of our better trading chips.

I love Iggy too and I think he is a perfect third option for a contender. But, I do not think he makes us a contender next year so I don't think we should give him the $10-13 million that he will probably get. He is a great piece to have when a team is ready to make the leap from solid playoff team with a star to title contender. We are 19-35 this year. We need a few more years to develop and give young guys playing time to get used to the league. By the time we would be ready to contend he will be 33 and on the downside of his career. Great player but I don't think he's a good fit.

Iggy is already 29 years old. We are not the team for him. We are too young. He would be a waste of money here.

Perhaps or perhaps he is the veteran we need to make the jump?

Ok. Iggy is not overrated.... but as a bunch of people above have said, we don't need him. He is a great defender and can drive to the basket. We are in the "Building up" mode... not "one more piece mode". Veterans are key, but we can't tie up any money with these guys.

I think everyone would rather that but what gaurentee do we have that he signs with us and not someone else?

Jefferson/Biedrins are considered the salary dump portion of the deal. Getting Bogut who actually has talent would be a boon and his contract is the same length.

Bogut's injury history? Hi two major injuries were freak accidents:

After three first-quarter blocks Jan. 25, he was going for a fourth when he landed on Kyle Lowry's foot and broke his ankle.

On April 3, 2010, Bogut dunked on a fastbreak, but a little shove in the back from Amar'e Stoudemire caused the center to fall 10 feet from the rim and land awkwardly on his right arm - dislocating his elbow and breaking his wrist and finger.
Having said that, I sincerely doubt GS would even entertain a Bogut/Thompson for Gordon+ trade.

Honestly, I'd rather have Harrison Barnes over Klay Thompson.

Hornets get: Barnes, Draymond Green & 1st round pick
Warriors get: Gordon & Xavier Henry

Salaries don't match and GS doesn't own their pick next year.

He makes over $5-7 million more the next two years than the other two guys and has played 23 games since 2010 season.

I think it would be several years before GS could trade a 1st rounder. Without Barnes thrown in, I would have to pass.

If we make this move, I'll be surprised.

I wouldn't put high potential and Draymond Green in the same sentence.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
