But hell....i'd take Jefferson or Andres if they give up both?
Just don't see it happening.

Seems like either we get screwed or they get screwed. Not seeing a very "fair" trade for both teams here?

Well what exactly else is left about his game that you like then?

He's aggressive and brings that element to a team where we don't have a lot of guys that can go to the basket...that being said, he isn't as good as he was. No way. He was on the verge of being the next DWade or DWade light, he is not near that level anymore. He's still a very talented guy, but not like he was, sorry it's a fact. Look at him with the Clips, dude has dunked like twice with the Hornets. Just saying people act like their is a big gap between the two players and their isn't. Different styles yeah, but how much the contribute is close. EG isn't the player he was.

I would LOVE!!! to get Thompson and Barnes for Gordon but obviously we'd have to give up more than Gordon and take on the bad contract of Biedrins or Jefferson.

So the question is what would you be willing to give up with Gordon if it meant getting Thompson and Barnes??

Sure we can... we have We have Rashard Lewis' contract coming off the book after this season, and next season RJ's expiring contract could be a nice trading piece.

That and if we are dumping Gordon and getting back equal salary... Gordon's contract would be on the books for next year anyway. We'd have the same amount of cap space

There is no way in hell the Hornets are getting Thompson AND Barnes for Gordon. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Even if Aminu were added to the deal it's not happening.

If a Gordon deal happens with Golden State it will be Gordon for Thompson/Biedrins or Thompson/Jefferson. My dream is Thompson/Bogut.

Then you are stuck without a starting caliber center now and for the forseeable future. You would be banking on us landing a quality FA or draft pick that can contribute right away. I don't like relying on something to happen. But that's just me.

I disagree. You guys are overrating Klay and Barnes. Iggy would be perfect for this team.
I feel like the addition of Iggy puts us into contention immediately with our current build. Just my opinion though.
