It may not be overblown but it's beating a dead horse.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Is it? When new injuries keep popping up and more time is missed, it becomes relevant again.

Yes it is. Calling the sun bright and the sky blue is nothing new. Eric Gordon being injured is nothing new nor is it news. We know he's injury prone so why act like its something new.

Why act like it's something that will stop?

Just too much crying over something fans on a message board have absolutely no control over.

Lol, act like what's going to stop, injuries ? I assume he will be perpetually injured which is why I don't need to vocalize it anymore. So I'm not acting like its going to stop, just am in Thea acceptance stage of grief.

But, don't we cheer over something we have absolutely no control over?

    No.

With a 30+ pt win we get people complaining about fries and posts like this...

lets enjoy this win for about 20 minutes and then get back to the Gordon situation....

He's missed one game because of an injury since he's come back from the knee, and it's a game he wanted to play in but the team held him out. I recall a number of the guys on the roster missing games this season because of bumps and bruises, Gordon is no different.

Nah, what I mean is if the team wins a NBA title that we played no actual part in, aren't we cheering?

What on a message board does any fan have control over? If the discussions were limited to what a fan has control over, there would be no need for this board.

Other than he has played in only 1/3 of the team's games this year.

Because of a injury he seems to have worked his way passed. It's time for people to move on from it.

So the team is sitting him out of back-to-backs because we are tanking? I mean if his knee isn't 100% and can't take back-to-backs, that's technically an injury causing him to miss games.

His right knee is getting close to causing a full season of missed games, all for a "bone bruise" that required "rest" instead of surgery...

Actually they don't have any control over anything on a message board but the dead horse beating gets old. Yeah, he's injured. He's always injured. You don't think he knows he's injured? Is he all of a sudden going to get better by us talking about it?

I said about a week ago, we fans just have to bide our time until Demps and co decide when it's time to do whatever it is they're going to do with Gordon. We spend more time here beating the dead Eric Gordon horse than we do talking about the play and development of our other players.

ETA: I know the other players don't make as much money as he does or is as injured as he is nor did they say their hearts were in PHX but, it is what it is.

Yeah you can't disregard him not playing in B2Bs, it is a part of the rehab process but he is still missing games BC of his injuries. I have moved on though, I really just don't care any more. I don't care if he stays for the rest of his contract or if we traded him yesterday. I really don't care I just don't want it to effect us winning in the future, starting next season.

Attendance season tocket sales and atmosphere and we're doing a terrible job at doing what we can control.

If as fans you're not doing your part on what you can control then why nitpick on what you can't control. I'd be willing to bet less than half the people on this board don't have any form of season tickets (I do). We collectively as fans aren't doing our job.

I think he was actually talking about what on a 'message board' does fans have control over. What you're talking about is a whole other subject.

Of course, I also watch 95% of the games, but due to life I am unable to make it to weekday games. Does that make me a bad fan?
