N/H or N/P: Lakers Owner Jerry Buss Cancer-Stricken and Dying? [EDIT: CONFIRMED DEAD]

Lakers owner Jerry Buss has been hospitalized because of an undisclosed form of cancer, spending time in the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to multiple team personnel.
A Lakers spokesman declined to comment on his condition.
A report Thursday from radaronline.com said that players were visiting Buss because of “what they expect to be his final days.”

Yeah this sucks. He was truly a great owner. Will be a sad day for Laker Nation when he passes. I see many dark days ahead as a Laker fan. I do not have much faith in his son, simply judging the moves since his father gave him the reigns.
Bad day to be a Lakers' fan. He made this club what it was, Dr. Buss is as good of an owner as there has ever been.

OMG has he ever. I understand it's hard to follow in the Doctor's footsteps, but damn he's been awful thus far!
Jeannie should be running the show. Sharp woman and would be smart enough to let the basketball people handle it. I was reading an interview about the guy one day and I took from it that he thinks he's smarter than he really is.
Also sad news about Dr. Buss. One of the great owners in the league.

This is cancer. It kills and destroys. It's why I HATE using the word for a disruptive locker room element. I allow turns of phrases in all other kinds of examples like when I say someone got slave feet, but this?
Damn. Hope and pray for the best. I despise his time, but bear him no ill will.
Prayers to the Buss family and the Laker family. That's tough right there. Nobody is promised "forever" but its never easy to watch someone on the down-side.

like the Lakers or not, Dr. Buss did so much for the game of professional basketball.....he will be missed by a lot of people....

No he wasn't, his son has only taken over his GM duties the last like week or so iirc
That's incorrect. He's taken over about a year ago and I'm 99 percent sure hes talked about his son Jim.

Just last week Stephen was saying something and skip's replay was "You aren't going to give him a little bit of a break with the reports that we are getting about his health".....soooo take that for what it's worth.
I've been listening lately. I don't recall it. I just remember Stephen A. Killin Jim constantly.

I watch everyday, not the full episode but everyday. I could be getting the names confused and it is the reverse of what I originally said I just don't know why skip would have brought that up.
I can't believe people watch and actually listen to those retards.
