I've heard someone mention Magnolias, and that's my vote. State bird to State Flower.

    PELICAN TAKEOVER

I was in Disneyworld last week and noticed, in addition to the Saints and LSU shirts, I saw a few Pelicans shirts and hats. I guess it's catching on.

that's going to lead to bad "pollinating the Magnolias" jokes... or at least I would believe it would

Stop trying to trade him and keep him healthy. He, Davis, and Rivers together can give the Pelicans their best seasons ever.

You are correct, I left out Anderson. But I was too busy trying to change the fact that I put that post in the wrong thread.

    ...I don't even know anymore.

Hopes are high for Davis. Rivers will come around and be a clevery, cagey buy. But Gordon? Keep him healthy. Easier said than done.

I could support that name too....I am sure we could do worse than having them named after my jeans zipper....

    PELICAN TAKEOVER

    Good stuff

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"
