I might swing by and see what they have later on. I can't get big boy sizes at the Arena or online so that's where I have to go. Hopefully Casual Male XL will start carrying items like they do for the Saints.

I'm with ya! I wore my hat to work today because I'm so pumped to have it. I tried to get to the Arena on Friday afternoon, but it was shut down like Fort Knox preparing for the Super Bowl, so I had my friend pick one up for me at the game that night. I will most certainly be swinging by Black and Gold in the near future.

Gay, who was traded to the Toronto Raptors Wednesday, said naming the team after a bird not perceived to be tough was probably not a good idea.
But he offered a suggestion.
``I wish they would had been called the Fighting Pelicans,’’ Gay said laughing.
``They changed everything the name, the colors. But I have never seen red, blue and gold as colors for a team before. But as long as you got the right people behind a team, I guess it don’t matter.’’

My brother was out in a mall somewhere in west Texas on Saturday and he asked a guy in Lids or some sports gear store if they had the Pelicans caps yet. The guys said no, not yet. They started talking about the logo and the guy said he's not even a basketball fan but he plans on getting a cap.

Yea, I was the main one saying I would never wear one of them before the name was official but now I think we will have one of the best logos in the NBA.
