Thread: A little focus on Darius Miller

A little focus on Darius Miller

I'm super excited to have him back in the rotation. Monty said that one of the goal of the second half of the season will be to develop Darius game. So he surely will play Henry and maybe Thomas minutes with the second unit !

My questions for you guys are : What part of his game does he need work on? What do you expect from him?

I would like to see Darius owning that corner 3 and be able to create a little bit more with his passing skills. Right now, he has tendancy to pass too often, I would like to him to be more aggressive and take more shots. He is known as a good shooter, right? So shoot it Darius !!!
I like his effort on the defensive end, even though he gets lost a little bit. He needs to stay focused and be less foul prone.

i hope he could turn into a Kawhi Leonard-type of player ! Am I dreaming?

I have to remind myself he's a rookie... he could be James Worthy-good in the right situation. (well, i guess anyone could be in the right situation)

Ur both dreaming. We're just letting him audition for a bench role long term. Would be nice to keep him and AD together.

He's already turned into a productive second round pick. Has shown he doesn't mind putting in the work and if he keeps hitting timely shots from behind the arc, he might just find himself a place on this squad long term off the bench.
    Wherehappens.

Not sure what his role is or will be. If he can't beat out Henry with either developing his outside shot or corner 3, I don't know if he will be in the future plans. I would love for him to be a defender in the model of lance thomas. He needs to take the Bruce Bowen role on this team an concentrate on defense and rebounding. (because we need rebounding from that position with Ryno on the floor)

Yeah we'll see I think he has all the skills to be a good role player off the bench ! Not the most athletic player we have clearly and not the one who will create his own shot.

Definitely a good role player with his shooting and potential for defense. Hopefully he gets more PT.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

I'd be ecstatic if he developed into a good 2nd man off the bench. He definitely has the ability to be that.
