What's going on Davis?

People forget that this is only his 2nd season at the PF position, and really, at Kentucky, he never played in the post offensively (aside from catching the lob). He is only just NOW working on a post game, and you see it at times with his hook shot and his face up game. I think he can make a living driving to the hoop and getting fouled, and most of the time it is an and-1. Kid has crazy touch around the basket.

Give him time, let him gain some strength and refine his moves. He'll be a stud.

I really hope he becomes more like Duncan in the post instead of KG on the perimeter.

I completely agree, but true post moves will take longer to learn than a face-up game for a guy like him. Early in his career, before he adds strength and skill in the post, I expect him to get a good amount of his points via his athleticism (aka driving to the hole).

Agree with that. Its his best asset right now since he's more comfortable facing up defenders. Hopefully as he gets stronger and more mature physically, his post game will come since he has the touch and footwork for it.

I'd love to see Davis as a 20/12/4(assist)/ 3 blacks and a steal in his prime.
