UK's Noel goes down with an injury - May fall to us on draft day.

Noel's injury while tragic bodes well for us it seems. if his draft stock drops, he may be available for us once we pick next year. I know it may be too early and the kid might stay in school another year ... but just imagine him subbing AD for us every game for us- we don't lose length and that shotblocking threat.

He's a freshman with undeveloped game who may have just torn his ACL. Not a chance we get Noel this year. If he's seriously hurt, he stays. If he's not, he goes before us.

Before Lopez came on, I like Noel too, but now? And with Trey Burke playing like he has been, gotta go with either a PG or another wing.

Watching the mich mich st game ?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I seriously don't want nerlens and ad playing together. He's way too lanky and has no offensive game. I'm fine with Lopez as of now, but would love to get pek if we could.

On and off. Burke is playing a good game. But the two sons of NBA players haven't bothered showing up.

Michigan was rolled. Burke played as good as he could with the rest of his team not showing up. I mean Burke has 41% of the Michigan's points. lol

Not really a fan of Noel, shows a lot of raw skills, may be a great player in the league but to me is more of a gamble than reward

No way Noel is coming out this year.

If he doesn't i think it now can be good for him. Earlier in the season when he was projected a sure fire top 3-5 pick he would have to capitalize on it, but his overall NBA readiness would take a hit. Now he might have the opportunity to polish his game and give himself another shot to improve his draft stock

I wonder how this affects Kentucky recruiting plans? They've already gave out all of their scholarships to the next class.

We need to find a way to get shabazz he is the small forward we need, a scorer in every sense, if not otto porter

He would bring some much needed offense, that's for sure. If he were maybe two inches taller, he'd be perfect. But sometimes you can't get perfection.

Otto Porter is someone I'm paying heavy attention to as well.

Well he is only 18 so growing an inch and being 6"7 with a 7 ft wing span, shabazz has supreme strength, I think he would be just fine at SF personally. If he can grow another inch he reminds me of a small forward version of James harden.

Also otto porter has a very nice game, great 3 great defense, length and rebounding, luol deng 2.0 but I still rather shabazz, height or not, I,l buy him some dr schools to add him an inch lol

My concern right now is only for the kid's future. Even the Florida players and crowd were aghast at how much pain Nerlens was experiencing. One player described the leg as "very wobbly" after the injury. My fear is that he might not play at all for the rest of 2013.

That being said, I agree with Charles Barkley that Nerlens should stay in school. He's was just starting to play well with his back to the basket and recognize easy hook opportunities. Unless he's fine with riding the pine for a couple of years in the NBA, he should keep soaking up Cal's knowledge.
Old fan. Tired fan. I want to believe.

Exactly what we need. Another big, so Monty can cut Davis' minutes to the 10-12 range

I just happen to turn the channel to the game like a minute before it happend. Man it looked so painful...I was literally on the couch doing this while watching them replay it.

That's damn near meme potential status whatever. I mean they did it with RG3.

This is what worries me about AD. Both guys are so long and thin/frail. Maybe this is why Monty won't play AD 30 minutes a game unless he is lighting it up. He needs to build strength.

Otto porter is climbing to top of my list. Handles ball better than I thought, is good without ball, in transition, and in half court. Plus his shot is already better than aminu's. nice length good d, rebounding, and hustle.

No way Nerlens comes out this year.

I hope he doesn't enter the draft this year.
