Ahh I never thought to say it like energy. Cool though

I think the point here is we should be in no hurry to replace him. Right now he is more than serviceable at a decent price. No reason to jump to anything too hastily. I think a more immediate need is getting better at the 3.

Interesting stat from Matt Moore on twitter: by the metric points produced per possession, which factors in possessions ending with points, assists, free throw attempts, and turnovers, Greivis Vasquez is 4th in NBA behind Paul, Parker, and James. Next are Rondo, Teague, Durant, D.will, and Dragic. A Hornets fan then goes off on him about how terrible Vasquez is.

    (HT to TD)

    Was that you, Eman?

The argument turns pretty quickly to Vasquez being a ballhog who keeps EJ from getting looks, which I think is kind of silly. I have no issue saying Vasquez is a bad defender. He totally is, although not uniquely bad. There are plenty of terrible PG defenders in the NBA. I'd love to see his synergy stats and how they stack up if anyone has that service.

I just wonder if they can get a better PG. If they can not then he is good enough.

I would very much like to know that as well. Again. Sounds like a job for...someone else who isn't hopelessly lazy.
