I'm skeptical too since he really hasn't proven alot in this league, but I do think he has the talent to be a very good SG if he stays healthy. The team needs him long-term. If he doesn't pan out, it will set the franchise back.

It all depends on what you consider turning it around means. Is he going to ever meet the expectations of what hornets fans thought he would be when he got here ? I'm not so sure. We're those expectations a little high to start with? Probably.

we tend to go way out of our way to support our own and find the silver linings (and there is nothing wrong with that).....however, the honest truth is that Gordon's numbers have never been overly special....he possesses the traits to be one of the really good ones, but he will never get to that point until he gets physically right and his head on straight at the same time....and we are pretty much at his mercy for the moment anyway and thats a shame....

Something has to happen with our bigs because we don't have enough minutes to go around.
Its gonna take Davis bulking up and moving to center because the team is more invested in Anderson than Lopez.

Oh yeah, it's going to hit the fan next week I feel.
At first Gordon when came back he looked fantastic, but now he looking like a slightly above average SG, which isn't why he is paid the max. He was passing the ball good now it seems like Rivers decision making has passed his on some plays. I have a hunch Dell is looking to move him and either GV or Lopez just to get a good deal.

Do you think Monty picks up the box score after some games and is surprised by what he sees?

What's the excuse for the franchise scorer this time? Scoring at least 10 points is asking too much of him?
We are a young team growing, and because of his ability to coach players I am at a good place with Monty. But next year if he is around, and he still has these brain dead rotations I could see him getting dropped like a hot potatoe. Ain't nobody got time for that!
