I'm pretty sure we don't have a 2nd rounder this year. Those are pretty easy to buy though, all depends on if Benson wants to shell out the cash.

    In order

    McLemore
    Shabazz
    Noel
    Otto porter
    Glen Robinson 3
    Trey Burke

If we get a top 5 pick and shabazz and McLemore are gone I say we trade out for 2 mid round picks and take a combo of either Otto porter or glen Robinson with trey burke

Quick question: If we draft Ben McLemore, what do we do with EG? Trade?

No, at least his rookie year we would actually have a scoring threat off the bench from our 2.

Due to our record, Shabazz should be gone, so I want SF- Alex Poythress from Kentucky!

We need better athletic players on the wing!

I'd like McLemore and the main reason is EG hasn't finished a full season and we would still need someone to come off the bench. I think he would be an upgrade over Mason. I've been watching Bazz and he's ok but if McLemore would jackup as many shots he'd easily go number 1. If not trade down for a late 1 and next year one. This is all depending if we draft lower than 6 or so unless in the tournament someone blows up but it would be a draft day trade for me.

I'd put eg at point guard and use him as a combo guard like the bulls use rose and have McLemore at the 2 and sign someone like Budinger and trade into the late first and take glen Robinson III for small forward

I love McLemore and the guy might be the best player in the draft. I would take him. If Bill self comes out as says that McLemore is the best player he has ever coached, that really means something. I just wish he grew two more inches.

Just because we draft McLemore does not mean we have to trade Gordon. Gordon does well at playing the point and distributing the ball.

McLemore, Shabazz, Bennett, Porter, and Burke in that order.

I love Bennett but he is a 4 and we have 3 power forwards already, he isn't quick enough to guard the perimeter vs quick small forwards

Strengths: The 7’0” center out of Arlington Grace Prep Academy is the nephew of former NBA center Isaac ‘Ike’ Austin, and he wears the eye-goggles to match ... Austin promises to be a top 5 pick in the NBA draft if he continues to improve ... He has immense length and uses it by blocking several shots and altering numerous others ... His timing is very good, knowing when to leap for a block and when to stay on the ground, even if he does lean in with his arms picking up unnecessary fouls ... His wingspan is in the neighborhood of 7’4”, and he can almost dunk on his tippy-toes ... He could end up 7’2” – 7’4” when he’s finished growing ... Austin also shows a great shooting touch and range out to the three-point line, which for his age and size is quite advanced ... He likes to work from the high post or top of the key, and looks for passes into the post and to cutters when his shot isn’t there ... You can see the talent is there, and he has a healthy fire inside of him and the willingness to get his team talking as a defensive leader.
looking for team to bandwagon, pls help

Porter is 5-7th on pretty much every draft board right now. don't think he'll be around outside the top 10

No tweeners please. And I have a question for y'all, hypothetically if we have our choice between Burke or McLemore who would you want?

EG at the 1 and McLemore at the 2?
Burke at the 1 and EG at the 2?

Which lineup looks better to you?

McLemore no question, younger and way more potential

    Eg at the 1
    McLemore at the 2

Knowing Eric Gordon, when we draft another SG, he'll be like WTF. Just like he was when he went all boo-hoo crybaby that we didn't have a center on the roster last offseason.

So is your decision for Burke over McLemore solely based on EG's feelings?

Isiah Austin is very intriguing but with him & davis as a starting front court they'd get tossed around by anyone with muscle

Not solely. I would prefer Burke playing PG instead of Gordon, and that's really the only reason I need.

When Isiah Austin played Nerlens, he was absolutely man handled in everything and was virtually non existent the entire game.

I say we draft PG Paul Pressey from Mizzou as a back up to Vasquez... I think he's a future star in the NBA!
