We are getting our injuries done early in the year so that everyone can be healthy in 2025. It's a smart

I’m taking a look at the schedule and I don’t see us winning any of the next 20 games

I said this exact same thing during the Saints preseason. It did not work out for me.

So as of Nov 1st, CJ was supposed to be out 2 to 3 weeks, Herb 2 to 4 weeks, and Murray 4 to 6 weeks.

It's been almost two weeks....now I know...I know....going off of past history, every NOLA player has a 90% chance of taking 3X longer to heal than advertised but maybe....just maybe we get CJ and Herb back soon and Murray back in 2 to 4 weeks.

I was also looking at this. I am going to look at it like this. If these guys all come back over the next month and we can somehow slowly get healthy things can turn around. What's different this year you ask? Murray is what's different. The team with everyone healthy minus Zion still looks like a really good team on paper. If they can get the season back on track we can wait and see if Zion can get back to health again this season. Same old song and dance but its all we can do this season. I would expect us to be sellers at the trade deadline if things don't turn around dramatically with BI as the number one player likely to be moved. It honestly wouldn't shock me to see just about anyone sent off in the hope you can somehow get players that can avoid injury.

In all fairness though, tons of teams are dealing with injuries to key players, it just seems we are dealing with everyone injured.

This team has a TON of soft tissue injuries. Why?!

Seems to be league wide but I don't have stats to show if this year is worse than normal. For some reason we have been hit really hard.

The Saints didn't have much of an injury issue in pre-season, it was not till the 3rd game that all hell broke loose

That would have been really cool if true but no, the Saints injury issues started in training camp. McCoy was the first major domino to fall but the cracks were already there. You can scroll through Saintsreport.com and see the threads of it if you're feeling emo enough to drag those memories up. Here's one example:

Remember when Sean Payton called out Ochsner hospital ? He had one of the doctors fired . Saints Players would discuss misdiagnosis by Ochsner on social media. Yet they are still our sponsor.

I do remember that. I thought we fired the whole training/medical staff for both teams and got new people. If not.....it's a decade past time to do so. These injury issues go back to before AD was here.

Teams in pre-season are very cautious with injuries, players are held out for almost just a hangnail. We were pretty much full strength for the 1st reg. season game. That lasted 2 games

It's been over 15 years since we've had a healthy roster. Lol
