Pelicans do their job and win their final road game of the year. Pels now have 42 wins, meaning that they will finish above >.500 for the first time since 2017-18, and for the first time in Brandon Ingram's career.

Trey's defense and rebounding has been improving as well, he is making his length felt.

So much better when he is in this mode. It used to be so frustrating to watch him iso and not give himself options besides a contested midrange jumper. It keeps the help defender off of him BIGTIME when they know he might be passing to the guy that just blew by them. This is really the answer to the "double team BI and get a free win".
Ingram is at his absolute best when he's like, 60/40 score/pass, instead of being fully invested into scoring.
We all know he can put 40 on guys, and when the opportunity comes where his shot just can't miss, or where he has an obvious mismatch, that's what he should do. But on an average night, the ability to use that threat to give everyone else a boost is way more valuable. He's in that zone right now, and has been for the last 15 games or so. Really dialled in.
