Hopefully this resets market prices a little bit.

It will for expiring contracts like Gary Trent jr. and Naz Reid, but not for OG and KD.

Is anyone going to make a move? lol

The best news we could hear this week is no news, specifically that the Lakers were unable to find a team to dump Russell Westbrook on and get good shooters.

Huge upgrades for LA for essentially just some bench names and a singular pick. Pretty wild.

Lakers pick is also top 4 protected

Griff just sitting there looking goofy. You could of had beasley and vandy easily. Smh guess we staying pat.

Only if you also think the other 28 teams who didn't go get Beasley or whatever are ''looking goofy'' as well, which is kind of strange. Whenever a team makes a good move, does everyone else automatically look goofy every time, or is it just this time?

First washington bends over backwards to help the lakers now minnesota.

I'm almost convinced the nba is paying the owners of these teams under the table to make this crap happen.

    I really don't get it.

Ainge got absolutely fleeced as yet another team bends over backwards to help LA. I wish it weren't a trend, but it is.

Get this: if that 2027 1-4 protected first rounder doesn't convey, it turns into a 2027 2nd rounder with no further burden to the Lakers.

That is the most ridiculous thing.

Guess them losing on Lebron’s historic night made ppl feel sorry for them. How do you get three starting players for one bench player? Always seems fishy when lakers are involved

I do wonder if sometimes the players influence the front office to make godawful deals like that one. Wow that is depressing.

Knicks make a significant upgrade from Reddish to Hart.

Yeah, but if that pick doesn't convey, that means the Lakers finished with one of the 4 worst records in the league. I don't see that happening, even after LeBron is gone.

They'll always find some team willing to prop them up to relevance.

    EXHIBIT A: Utah Jazz.
    EXHIBIT B: Minnesota Timberwolves.

    KD to the Suns!
A lot of picks, Bridges gone, Cam and Crowder is gone as well!

KD, CP3, Booker and Ayton is pretty spook.

But losing Bridges on the defensive end is a killer for the Suns. You cannot win in the playoffs without wing stoppers, and the Suns just lost their best one. I think the Suns just mortgaged their future for a small chance at a title in the next 2 years.
