Pels lose yet another game, this time at home, before heading out on the road again. We've now lost 7 of our last 10 games and have fallen out of the third seed spot. Brandon Ingram has not played since November 25th and we still have zero update on his expected return. Zion is still not due for re-evaluation quite yet, though it is soon: note that even if he is cleared, it will likely be another week before he actually plays due to ramping up and practicing.
On top of that, we have more injuries.
That's right, Naji is now out as well.New Orleans has been forced to alter its lineup multiple times this season in response to a starter being sidelined, which led to Naji Marshall moving into the first unit, often as a forward. Marshall (right great toe soreness) himself now is uncertain to play in Friday?s game at Orlando (6 p.m. Central, Bally Sports, 99.5 FM), listed as questionable on his team?s injury list. He is joined as questionable by teammate Herb Jones (right low back contusion).
Fun times.
