    Pelicans January 20th - New Orleans Pelicans @ Orlando Magic - 26-19

Pels lose yet another game, this time at home, before heading out on the road again. We've now lost 7 of our last 10 games and have fallen out of the third seed spot. Brandon Ingram has not played since November 25th and we still have zero update on his expected return. Zion is still not due for re-evaluation quite yet, though it is soon: note that even if he is cleared, it will likely be another week before he actually plays due to ramping up and practicing.

On top of that, we have more injuries.

New Orleans has been forced to alter its lineup multiple times this season in response to a starter being sidelined, which led to Naji Marshall moving into the first unit, often as a forward. Marshall (right great toe soreness) himself now is uncertain to play in Friday?s game at Orlando (6 p.m. Central, Bally Sports, 99.5 FM), listed as questionable on his team?s injury list. He is joined as questionable by teammate Herb Jones (right low back contusion).
That's right, Naji is now out as well.

    Fun times.

Is Naji out? Because that's not what that says.

    It says, I will repeat:

He is officially listed as questionable but at this point as far as I'm concerned, if you're listed on the report there's no reason to suspect that you will play. This team does not push anyone to play through any sort of injury or discomfort. Maybe Naji will end up playing as a last minute go ahead but I see no reason to expect that.

    RIGHT GREAT TOE SORENESS !!!!!
Naji gonna miss at least the next 26 games !
It's that the Hornets unashamedly quit so quickly in Game 4 after fans in New Orleans showed up this season with greater regularity than the team could have ever dreamed, shaming misinformed know-it-alls like me who kept telling you that local residents couldn't possibly invest their time and money into something as trivial as rooting for the local basketball team while still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. - Mark Stien ESPN

Herb was questionable and he’s playing. That’s how “questionable” works.

Larry Nance just aggressively postered a guy, it was nasty

Franz Wagner 21 points and 6 assists in the first half. Dyson keeps cheating off of him toward the lane and getting burned. Pels lead by 4 at half.

If I could ban one thing in the NBA, it would be the "euro-step" move. Sorry, but in the real game of basketball, that's travelling.

I seriously don't have a personal grudge against Devonte. He's awful. I bet when he was a kid and they played pin the tail on the donkey and it was his turn that everyone cleared out of the room. The guy cannot shoot!

Trey should have blocked Anthony into the upper deck there. Our transition defense is not good.

This team looks tired. No pep in the 4th quarter. This team has hit the wall. BI and Zion cannot come back fast enough.

At this point, you go to BI and say, you're getting paid $20M+ a year. Get your ****** in gear.

Yikes...would drop us to 27-24 by the end of January now.

Fell apart in the fourth. We are officially in a free fall.

The last 9 games on our schedule are against teams in the playoffs as well..so even if we have a full roster, it wouldn't be that easy of a task to win most of those games

Pelicans are going backwards….with miami up next !…..we need to make a trade or they need to get their ******** together!!! Willie may need to switch up the rotations again. Let our other guard get some playing time.
