Best sports bar to watch Pels games?

What's your favorite spot to watch road games? Must have game volume up loud enough to hear. Extra points for cheap drinks/eats.

Edit: top recommendations so far are The District and Mid-City Yacht Club.

    Ranking on GameWatch.info:

    #1 Barcadia

    #2 Tracey's

    #3 The American Sports Saloon

    #4 Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar

    #5 LOFT18 (Metairie)

    #6 Deja Vieux Food Park

That's why I'm asking - where would you suggest?

Tracey's and Barcadia are good venues.

Walk-Ons is too loud. Can barely hear conversation much less the TV.

At least pretend to say something constructive

OP was actually asking a good question

Having the volume on is a hard target. You're lucky to find many bars showing the games at all. I often have to request they change the channel from some obscure college game.

The Tchoup Yard is a good venue. Its large, lots of open air seating, good food, pretty coeds. But they aren't open every day and the volume can be a thing.

Beaded Oak on St. Charles just revamped and it's awesome.

Surprised no one has said Mid City Yacht Club yet. I think they are the Pels12 main bar. It's a fun place to watch an away Pels game and they have really good food. You can usually always hear Joel and AD as well. I don't think I would go anywhere on that list though. I think that's one of those paid to be on type lists.

Awesome, I'll try Mid-City. Yeah the volume is always the problem. I had never heard of Beaded Oak.

If you like good burgers try Beachcorner in MidCity. Plenty of TV’s.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for, a packed house of excited people vs not having to wait half an hour for a drink lol

Definitely, I either want to be there for a BIG game or a small one. The play-in game last year there was a blast. I went yesterday and there was probably 10-15 of us and it was great. Drinks took no time, was able to talk to people and hear the game. Those random Thursday/Friday nights arent it for me. Cant hear anything and cant get a drink.

If it's a weekend game, the District is always a great spot. Game on the projector as well as a number of other TVs, plus sound on
