That last shot by val where he bodied claxton is what he needs to do more

  2. #27
Need to get that energy and intensity back to get the crowd involved as well.

Why Green persists with those defensive lineups for so long, I have no idea. If DG isn't hitting then take him out for TMIII for GODS sake.

As I write (6:29 left in fourth) we have only one player in starting lineup with a positive +/-. Any guesses?

  5. #30
The Nets are way too handsy on the defensive end. Kind of hard to compete when the officials let that go all night.

Is Dyson Daniels hurt? Why is he getting such little burn compared to some of these others?

Game over....on to the next! Nice try though

It was a good effort. Easily could have won. Herb really has to work on that 3 pointer. It really holds us back in games where we need him on the floor defensively.

No, but his +/- was better than four of the five starters

Devante cannot shoot...please try to trade him before the deadline.

No worries, McCollum got his 28 to go with his game high -16 differential (+/-). I wonder if his three consecutive misses at the free throw line in the fourth quarter could have made a difference in the game's outcome?

This was a very winnable game. On to Dallas.

You obviously see it the wrong way if you are comparing +/-, but I agree missing FT's in the 4th is alarming. I only saw the one. Did he miss 2 more in this game or last?

    OBSERVATIONS

** It's funny. All year I hear about gravity, and playing downhill. And, yet, the one player in the starting lineup who 'plays downhill' (and is having a career night) is conspicuously on the bench when the game's on the line in the closing minutes.

** 3M3 is a specialist and nothing more at this stage of the game. He's got a long way to go. 15 rebounds in his last six games? That's almost inexcusable.

** Why play JV if you are not going to let him eat.

** A certain player is very servicable when he doesn't play ISO-Ball. Otherwise, he detracts from the team

** This team is only as good as the sum of it's parts (especially now). 'Hero Ball' is reserved for Superstars and, even then, there are no 'givens' on any given night.

** Willie is still a work in process.

    Now do Herb Jones.

Absolutely, you are right. The game is played on 94' court. On 47 feet, he's either and All Star or a 'Church League-er' depending on what side of the court the 47' is on.

He's definitely suffering through a Sophmore Slump.

Oh well they tried. If Brooklyn is missing KD and Kyrie they get stomped.

Dallas is playing like complete crap right now and they are missing a few key players...so I'm saying there's a chance.

good game but coming out slow to start the 3rd quarter and not matching KD early energy cost us and put the nets back in the game among other things we did bad in the second half.......we have to clean some of the crazy stuff we do in the second half of games when we are up double digits....

  19. #44
Do they feed the team sleeping pills at halftime? I mean this happens all the time. Tired of the lazy third quarters.

Herb's lack of offense is KILLING us. Really want to see Dyson and Trey get more offensive opportunities.

All in all, a super entertaining game. Great atmosphere in the arena.

We need Trey to be more aggressive on offense, he's got to start looking for is shot and start taking to rim. Willie has to empower him to do so.

If KD and KI didn't shoot like **** they would have crushed the Pels. Pels got lucky that they shot badly, just as much as the Nets did with Zion and BI out.

Yes ,We fought but loss i a loss. Up to the next one. But without Z and BI it’s gonna be very hard stretch of games …

Jose got smacked in the three times and T-boned another, with no calls in his favor. Nets got the Celtics/Jazz treatment, allowing them to reach and press all night on D with few calls.

Jaxson needs to look at Claxton as an example of how to play. Always around the basket, impacting shots and making blocks while under control, moving to the right spots.
