I actually don't mind it when we are the under dogs, makes wins even better. I also think we play harder when the big guns are out.

I might be one of the few, but I'm actually excited to see us in the City Edition uniforms tonight! I just want to see the young guys play well, win or lose.

to me thats the wild part about this team.....back in the days when stars were out, we may loose and expect it....now this team has expectations leveled to where if our star players are out and we win it like wow and if we loose its like its ok and no meltdown because the backups play hard and have the mindset of they expect to win....

count me as two of the few, and I agree with your sentiments about the game also.....

Based on these numbers, it's very possible the Pelicans will have no representation in this year's ASG. I desperately want to see the Pelicans claw their way back to the number one seed by February 6th, so Willie and his staff will coach the team. Can you imagine...a number one seed with no player representation.

    Vote Naji....Vote often!!! LOL

Both Trey and Naji should have more all-star consideration than Austin Reaves. But all star voting is a joke and always will be.

Hope they can pull this game off tonight. I'm not totally fooled by the Nets just yet. Their schedule has been pretty soft.

    Woot woot.
    Good positive energy.

    But also, yo mama's fat.

Durant is having an MVP year. Who is going to stop him?

  14. #14
Looks like only Ingram and Zion will be out. We should have a good shot at this at home. As long as KD doesn't go ballistic...

    Najimania - Naji the Knife!!!

  16. #16
Just two months ago, most of the brainiacs in here were including Naji as a throw away in every 'God-Foresaken' trade suggestion they made, and/or blasted Willie for daring to play him at all (not Lucky on Me). Now, he's almost indispensible to the success of the team. LMAO

Jose with 13 points and causing havoc. I bet Kira would have had doubled the points already

As I type the two leading scorers for the Pelicans (13 apiece) are Naji and Jose'. Neither were drafted, huh?

    Just Sayin'!!

Pels 10-17 from 3pts at the half. Lead by 11. More made 3s than made 2s.

I wonder if it is that the front office is just picking the right players, or if the coaching, and development of players skills is so good. I can only say that it is all of those things.

Come on Willie if you wanna put Hayes in.

Val gets too cute and soft most of the time when he gets close

I think he gets frustrated that he not getting touches and when he finally gets the ball and the smart move is to pass he forces bad shots.
