TM3 with the start
I like Herb driving to the rim a lot more than settling for outside shots
Good team hustle to get the rebound and get points from a good ingram take
Ga damn Zion can’t stay healthy. Looks like he’s gonna be one of those players who consistently gets injured, I’m guessing
Naji running this offense a little bit too much.
Jose hurt? In what world is Graham coming off the bench first?
TM3 attacking the rim and BI knocking down a butter 3 point shot... good offense. And despite all the points Memphis put up in the first quarter, there are signs of the defense tightening up
Ja Morant played the entire first quarter.
Jose, CJ, Herb, Dyson, and Nance? I like this lineup somehow
Coach played Graham first off the bench so he could hit us with this Jose + DD combo in the 2nd
Ja Morant is absolutely killing us. Maybe we could try attacking him when he's on defense and try to get him in foul trouble because i dont know what else we are going to do about it
really disappointing effort inbounding the ball there
pretty good basketball there from both teams.
Smacking Naji square in the face isn’t a foul. Brushing past Ja is. Whatever.
Willie needs to throw DD, Herb and Jose at Morant in the second half and make him defend also.
wow coming out so flat in the 3rd quarter, this is becoming a theme
Not sure why this coaching staff wont make any in game adjustment.
JV isn't working, so why roll out with him again in the 2nd half?
Can someone please tell CJ it's after the AS break so he can make a doggone shot!!!
I honestly don't think CJ knows how to play on this team....
"Am I a a point guard...do I involve everybody in the half-court?"
or...
"Am I scorer?"
Taking a high risk shot (for him) with 15+ seconds on the clock is nuts. Just as an example: no sooner does JV get in the front court and he needs to start backpeddling because the ball was shot with 19 seconds still left on the shot clock with no passes being made.
I would start Herb and Jose' and feature CJ on the second unit. He's much better as an off-guard.
