    Pelicans November 2nd - New Orleans Pelicans @ LA Lakers - 4-2

Pelicans continue on the road, this time to take on the 1-5 LA Lakers in Los Angeles.

To put it simply, barring any outliers this game should be a win. Naturally, as Pelicans fans, that means that this game will be the one where the team explodes or something.

The injury report is simple: Ingram out, Herb & dyson probable. Nobody else we expected to play is listed (obviously names like EJ, out for the season, don't count).

Let's get it; if we win tonight it's double the value as it also improves the stock of the LA pick, which we want. In a perfect world the Pels win 50 games this year and make a playoff run while also getting a top 4 pick in a stacked draft.
    Basketball.

Whooping the Lakers is about as orgasmic as the Saints whooping the Falcons.

I too, was a Laker fan in the mid/late 90s Nick Van Exel era.

Conversely losing to that team gives me the blues.

    Schroeder is out.
AD is questionable. I bet AD doesn't play. He doesn't want to guard Zion or JV. Too much beef for his sore back.

Let's get this win and I hope I can stay awake for all of it!

Same here. Had a rough few days with my adult daughter in ICU with Covid, flu AND pneumonia. Really shouldn't stay up, but ... its the Lakers.

I wish your daughter well, Robert.

I think we see a ton of Naji again tonight. Herb and Naji should get 100% of the minutes guarding Lebron. I'm not really sure how the Lakers keep the Pels off the glass tonight, and I'm not really sure how anyone outside of Lebron and AD score on the Pels.

-3 feels like too few, but we've been in LA for like four days now so we'll see

Herb just got downgraded to questionable. Which is weird but I guess his knee flamed up. Or they are playing mind games.

I'm not too confident about this one
The old Pels would lose this game.

That's concerning. Naji may have to match Bron's minutes if that is the case

the last 2 games against us , lebron played 40mins each and scored 39 and 38pts.....both games we won......i guess the plan is to let lebron score as much as he want and hold everyone else down.....i hope the refs dont call silly fouls and kill our rotation on lebron...

Can't wait for Zion to booty bump AD and aggravate that back strain. Let's go..

Interesting that they are helping double Jonas in the post against AD

Another game, another CJ starting 1-5

Just checked the box score and Ad is 1/7 so far which is worse than I thought
