Love this draft from us. We got two legit 1st round talents IMO

Love Daniels and hope he’s a new & improved Lonzo 2.0.

Liddell was an absolute steal! I was hoping he would fall & we would take him. And we did. Perfect combo forward for us.

Then instead of trading the other pick we got us a high motor draft & stash guy.

Our defense has the possibility to be the best in the entire league IMO

Griffin doesn't do the drafting. He's been extremely open and clear about the fact that Trajan manages the draft and the scouting team and he just lets Trajan do it.

NYK trades 11th pick to OKC

OKC trades 3 firsts (23 DEN, DET, WASH) to NYK

NYK then trades 23 DEN, 4 seconds to CHA for 13th pick

NYK then trade 13th pick & Kemba Walker to DET for MKE's 25 first

NYK trades 11, Kemba, 4 2nds & gets 3 future 1sts

If they get Brunson or Kyrie, it was a good trade IMO

My big takeaway was that it shows yet again how it feels good to win pointless games in April, but it kills your in June. They loved Mathurin and Daniels and nobody after that tier. If they would’ve just tanked that last month, they could’ve gotten that 4th pick Sacto jumped into, or at least 7 or 8. But thankfully they Knick’d and Pels got 8

The Knicks giving Brunson a max would be such a Knicks move! lol. I agree, Brunson is not even close to a max player. He is a good 2 or 3 option scoring wise (he has his defensive liabilities though) but he is not a max player.

Brunson is not worth anywhere near that. I am hoping they make a run at Irving if he leaves the Nets. I do not want to see him on a cheap contract with the Lakers.

He's a nice player but they want to dump so much salary into a pretty mid team. And they have to pay RJ soon too so they just are going to lock a randle-brunson-rj core in i guess?

Agreed... Dolan has really run the organization into the ground. It's sad, I grew up being a Knicks fan since the Pels weren't here. Bring back the Ewing and John Starks days!

McNamara, do you have any idea of other guys we liked in the first but we just weren’t in that range?
