That's a lie. There is one unguardable skill. Elite shooting. You can only be so good at defense at this level.

You only have 2 good shooters and one good shooter that can't create his own shot. It's not enough to win championships.

You have to strike balance. You need either a shooter with defensive upside or a defensive guy with true shooting upside. You can't draft a black hole in offense just because he provides good defense just as much you can't draft a offensive weapon that's a liability on defense.
