    ZION Medically Cleared

    Good news, everyone

    Playing in Summer League?

  4. #4
So, all we needed to do was go about 6 games deep in the conference finals to see him this year...

Nah, because then they would have said he needed another 3 weeks of stretching and 4 weeks of mind balancing yoga and meditation, then another month of strength training

They would have come up with any excuse in the world not to let him play. Were determined to go into the summer, be it negotiations with him or other teams for trades with him not being hurt

According to Windhorst... the front office is saying they're not fully guaranteeing Zion's contract, and will put provisions in there regarding his health and availability. Which we hoped they would do.

    Should be an interesting summer.

Odd segment. Why refer to the negotiation as the Pelicans taking a football approach? They are likely taking the Embiid approach, which last time it looked, was an NBA negotiation. Beverly on TV is a joke. ESPN has Perkins and him? What an absolute disaster.

So does a team’s ears perk up that is willing to give Zion a fully guaranteed max after hearing the comments from today? That would be the reason I see Griff releasing that info

Is there more than just a fringe chance we make that trade? I just have so much doubt.

Don't see Magic trading the number one pick.
What would the Kings offer for Zion? That's a team that history says you'd love to control their future picks.

That is on Zions camp. Griff is very happy to make a substantial offer and keep him. If they balk, trade feelers will be put out but only accepted if it’s a huge offer

Being on the outside looking in, I'd have a really hard time seeing Zion's camp pushing for a trade this summer unless they just felt incredibly disrespected by the way Griffin handles extension talks. That being said, I also expect them to feel incredibly disrespected by the extension talks.

Pat Bev gets shut down and has to bow his head in shame. Twolves are the same as they were last year, and we are getting Zion and a number 8 overall pick. We will be better than the TWolves next year by a mile.
