Kenny Atkinson is a good coach for a team that's in development... I don't think he'd be a good fit for the Lakers. Lebron will be coaching them by January.

Terry Stots... he's a Carlisle disciple so they'll be able to score, but they'll need to find shooters.

Darvin Ham... he'll command respect from them but he has no head coaching skins on the wall. Might be another situation where Lebron tunes him out by January.

Lebron will be picking the HC, basically looking for a guy who won't challenge him or hold him accountable, though he doesn't have the self-awareness to realize this.

Whoever takes the job is a complete sucker and you would have good reason to suspect their IQ.

This is a sports franchise at peak narcissism, destined to go down spectacularly in flames, and the HC is offering themselves up as a sacrificial lamb.

No intelligent person would take a position with completely dysfunctional ownership, front office, and stars over an assistant position with a functional franchise.

To see them miss the playoffs completely while the Pelicans made it was more than I could have ever hoped for.

And on a side note, while I am on my soap box, Westbrook's career is exactly what happens when you mistake a really great 6th-man scoring option for a starting player, history will show.

I was really hoping that there was some smoke to the Master P and Shaq combo. Obviously because of what a disaster it would be but also to see if they actually would've been naive enough to hire them in the first place.
