Yea my point is the MLE is cool in theory, not actuality for a team like the Pels.

I remember all of those Martell Webster and Marvin Williams dreams, lol.

If you don't think you can effectively use the MLE, keep Graham and use his deal to target a guy that fits better midseason

Take Sharpe at 8. Or Daniels, Dieng or Sochan.

Package the 2nd round picks for a higher 2nd and draft one of Watson, McGowens, Braun, Moore Jr., LaRavia, Brown or Nembhard.

Keep the team together from last season and use Graham, Temple and Marshall for a win now upgrade at the 2023 trade deadline, if a trade is available.

That 2nd round pick taking a 2-way deal?

Yes, to have them on the roster. I prefer not to have to waive Temple, but trade him.

Well no way a 2nd rounder in the early 30's is going to agree to a 2-way contract. Maybe in the late 40-50's but even then.

Last year, #34 agreed to play overseas. #39 signed a two-way. So did #41 (our pick this year). In 2020, #36, 37, and 38 all agreed to two ways

I would say thats about the highest you can draft a guy and get him to do a two-way

Has there been a thread on favorite second round targets?

Favorite outcome is trading up in range for Beauchamp if he falls to the late first early second. Love Braun. I actually know they have interest in Jaden Hardy, although I don’t think they could get up high enough. Jaylin Williams is super intriguing. Caleb Houstan, Bryce Mcgowens, and Pat Baldwin were obviously highly touted

Who’s the guy that you would target?

I don't think there has been such a thread but basically similar names to you. Braun, Beauchamp, Roddy, Houstan, depends on exactly where in the 2nd we end up actually making a pick since second rounders tend to get swapped about a lot.
    Basketball.

We still own the protection on the pick that Portland just dealt to Detroit, don't we?

definitely need defense if we can pick up 1 or 2 experienced guys to help these young guys.

Go trade Devonte and Jax for Harrison Barnes for one season while we groom Trey, Dyson, and Lidell

What happened to undrafted thread? They have signed two already.

  14. #264
Izaiah Brockington has signed an Exhibit 10 contract.

Two guys, Notae from Arkansas, and Orlando Robinson, a center who moves well and can shoot the 3, sat there undrafted at the moment. I would give either the other two way. Sign the other on Exhibit 10.

He actually didn't break this one. A writer covering the Mavericks did.
