Now, when it comes time, if you want to avoid the tax or lessen the bill, you could move him easier than if you tried to offload Graham. Its something OKC does brilliantly - buy low, put them in a good light, sell for positive value
People who go to games would love Duncan Robinson off the bench. Fans in the stands have loved every Duncan Robinson we've ever had on this team

I'd do that trade easily. But not sure Willie finds 15 mpg for him when other options will be better defensively. Like how do you preach defense, and then play Duncan over Dyson, or even Naji?

Or that Malcom Brogdon was traded to Boston? I realized that one a couple days ago.

I completely missed the Murray trade and that was weeks ago

Wait wait, so I just saw this.

Not only did the Wizards give Beal the richest deal in NBA history - which was announced the moment FA opened, so that's not news - but they went even further.

THEY GAVE HIM A NO TRADE CLAUSE?!

What?! They gave him a deal that averages out to a little over $50m per year, and then also gave him a no-trade clause?! It was $70m more than any other team could ever have given him, what were they thinking?

I wish there were as many teams in the West dedicated to being terrible as there are in the East.

Can we get sexton please. Seems like his number should be going down. I’m wondering what shooting guard we still targeting, if we were really looking for one.

You know the rules. You wanna target a player like that who will require big money and assets, and you gotta show us your 240.

Where does Sexton get his 30 minutes per game from (and if you say he isnt getting 30mpg, then he isnt coming, because he wouldnt agree to the sign and trade). So, show your work.

Any idea when we will sign the Rookies? Hopefully soon today for Dyson at least.

Just as good driving off the court as he is on

I still want to know why Griff felt the need to lock him up for at least three years

Hopefully this is the last total blunder he (Griff) ever makes

Appears to be between a 2-3 game suspension on average. Dyson will get some early run

Fearless 3 point shooting. That is Graham's superpower.

NBATV had Pelicans/Grizz game on last night where Zion dropped 31. Zion created a million WIDE OPEN 3 point looks for Josh Hart and Eric Bledsoe. Half of the time, they unnecessarily pump faked, drove to the basket, couldn't get anywhere, and passed the ball. Graham would pop that 3 ball with reckless abandon. I thought Graham sucked last year as much as the next guy, but I still think he can knock down open 3s. If he gets minutes with Zion (if he's still on the squad), he will be a valuable player.

I don't know what happened to Graham last year. I haven't looked at his early numbers but it seemed like he was shooting the ball pretty well, and around the time of the all-star break it looked like he lost confidence in his jumper. I think I remember one late season game he had where he caught fire but other than that, it just looked like he lost confidence.

It almost coincided when CJ joined the team. Maybe early on Graham had a full green light because we desperately needed shooting so he shot without conscience. Then when CJ came aboard, he started questioning whether he should be the one taking the shot.

Maybe Graham just had a down season shooting the ball. It happens.

Shot .341 (on 7.4 attempts) from 3 with us last year. Shot .377 (8.7 attempts) and .382 (9.3 attempts) the previous two years, respectively. Maybe he needs more attempts? Maybe he had a down year? Maybe he forgot how to shoot?

If maybe and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas.

In the last 20+ years we've collectively elected two dudes with coke problems, and two dudes who liked to get high smoking weed to the presidency of the United States of America.

I think we'll all be able to come off our high horses and get past Graham getting pulled over for DUI if he shoots 38% from the 3pt line to start the season.

But he never shot 38% in his career. So, it easy to say that he won't. He never even shot 40% FG either. Quit overvaluing trash that got benched for an UDFA rookie.

I think it was some sort of injury. He gets a ton of lift on his shots, so if something's off with his legs or hips, his shot will suffer.

But no he wasn't bad all year.

His signing was not like getting Eric Bledsoe, who never had a future here. Bledsoe wasn't meant to be here more than one season. But Graham was a real rotation signing.

I'm willing to just chill out and see what happens next year. No need to waste assets trying to move him now.
