    Pelicans January 25th - New Orleans Pelicans @ Philadelphia 76ers - 18-28

Tonight we take on the 27-19 Sixers, who are 3-2 over their last 5, and 11-3 over their last 14. They're doing well. Funnily enough, the Sixers are only 10-10 at home so far this year, whereas they're 17-9 on the road. So statistically we're probably better off playing them in Philly, but of course that can easily just be a statistically oddity rather than something meaningful.

The entire team is basically injured. So here we go.

By sitting out our starting lineup tonight, the Pelicans are making a not-so-subtle protest of having this game moved from earlier in the year, when the Sixers were all banged up and dealing with COVID-19 absences, to tonight. Sixers would have played on the 2nd night of a back-to-back against us if the game had been played on the original schedule date. Instead, we get the Sixers on the 2nd night of a back-to-back of our own. How is that for competitive balance, NBA?!

I doubt the league cares what the Pels protest, unfortunately.

Looks like they read my mind. Sit everybody. This game shouldn't be here.

Reports are coming out of Philadelphia that, three hours after the game, citizens can still hear the refs blowing whistles for Embiid.
    Good positive energy.

    But also, yo mama's fat.

You have to admire the fight in this team that Coach Willie has installed. As depleted as we were, I said before the game, Philly fans should be embarrassed if they don’t win by at LEAST 20.
