Pelicans December 17th - New Orleans Pelicans vs Milwaukee Bucks - 9-21

    We are 9-21.

    Bucks are 19-11.

They've won 12 of their last 15 games.

They're top 7 in both offense and defense and we're bottom 6 in both.

But we are the Pelicans, anything is possible, and we tend to play up or down to our opponent in a hideously frustrating way.

    Let's see how this goes.
    Basketball.

We tend to win or compete when we shoot the 3 ball well. 38% or above and I think we win.

We should win. Bucks team is basically out with health protocols.

Should be a close game then.

No Giannis, Lopez, Portis, DiVincenzo, or Matthews.

But of course Middleton comes back tonight.

Also found it kinda comical when the Pelicans finally have something of a "homestand" in early January.

Who do they play? Just the top 3 teams in the western conference.

    Utah, Phoenix, Golden St.

And those games even involve a back-to-back.

Pels can't shoot 3's or midrange J's for nothing.
Actual proof Greivis Vasquez can throw Anthony Davis an Alley-OOP on an (kinda) fastbreak!

BI is going to have a long night with Jrue around...man i wish we had a jrue holiday on this team...

NAW has 7 3pt attempts while BI has 7 total fg attempts

I was surprised how many picked Naw and Hayes in that Garland/Hunter/Naw&Jax poll last season.

Always pick the best available player.

I can live with NAW attacking the rim and missing/blocked.... but he keeps chunking up long shots. Why does he have the greenlight?

Talent mismatch but maybe a coach mismatch too…

    Zone giving fits

NAW needs to be sent to the gleague...he can chuck as much as he wants there....

  17. #17
Sato and Naw at opposite ends of the confidence spectrum

  18. #18
NAW is 4-16. How does he have the green light to shoot that much? Willie Green, how?

Herb might be good at basketball.

What the hell is WIllie Green doing subbing out JV for Temple with 50 seconds left???? AND THEN THE BUCKS GO RIGHT TO THE PAINT FOR THE BUCKET IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!

We can't break through their zone to save our lives. Seems like BI barely attempted any shots this game.

the zone in the second half made the game close because we cant shoot 3s.....and in the last 3mins the team played tight and was looking for ingram to carry the load instead of playing team ball..
