Thread: I've come to realise that Hart was my favourite Pel

I've come to realise that Hart was my favourite Pel

I watched CJ ball out but it left me numb. Watching Hart play amazing for Portland hurts like hell. He just plays with such passion defensively along with his offensive skill.

It's literally like breaking up with a girl and getting a new chick but still pining for the old

And he's not doing that fall back when shooting a three thing that he did here after one game with Portland?

    He's a bonafide player now

Yeah i liked him too. Definitely one of the few Pels/hornets i did not like being traded. It?s like he was sacrificed due to our terrible three point shooting. Ironically, he shot 50% tonight.

I still think it was a solid trade but would have been the best Pels trade ever if we could have somehow kept him. Imagine him running the bench instead of Graham.

Yeah my dream was to give away Graham instead of Hart

I really need to make a video on the difference in his three point shot technique tho

Yeah. Seeing him wear another uniform is hard. Way harder than CP3 or AD. Because they left in great terms.

It's subtle, but he used to lean back a bit shooting threes instead of going straight up and down. Especially before this season

I watched the Portland highlights and his three point shooting looked flawless

Let's be serious. You don't really think he adjusted his shot after maybe 1 practice and in his first game?

When we made the trade with LA Hart was the guy that I had hoped we get. I knew we'd get BI and Lonzo but I really hoped we'd get Hart. Dude plays with a ton of heart (pun).

They need to pay Nurkic and Simons next year. They wont make Hart guaranteed.

He may come back with the MLE as it is close to 12M he would have made (10.6M).

I dream of him returning on the cheap when his contract runs up and we're winning 'ships.
    Good positive energy.

    But also, yo mama's fat.

I liked Hart because he played hard even when other people didn't and it was always fun to watch the effort.

The actual end product of that effort was largely hit-and-miss, and eventhe hits weren't usually that extreme. All that defensive running around just to end up in the 55th percentile of D-EPM, for example.

He is playing well in Portland but then, it's also only been a few games and that's not rare for him - a short stint of showing up is common.

I liked him, I wish him the best, but I'm certainly not going to mourn his loss to the team.
    Basketball.

Would rather Griffin had some balls and kept Lonzo for the CJ trade. Pels keep Josh, never deal with Sato and Temp.

Blazers would not have taken on the long-term contract of Ball. They wanted expiring contracts as they are shedding payroll.

They could have found a buyer for Ball in the off-season

The Blazers? Why would they do that when their intent was to shed salary? They turned down deals from the Knicks because the player contracts extended beyond next season.
