Pelicans November 19th - New Orleans Pelicans vs Los Angeles Clippers - 2-14

2-15 incoming as we take on the 9-6 LA Clippers.

Clippers offense is not good - currently ranks 19th in the NBA. That said, 19th is still better than ours, which is now officially bottom 5.

The real gulf between us and the Clippers comes on the other end of the floor. Right now we have the worst defense in the NBA, 30th out of 30. The Clippers, by comparison, have the 2nd ranked defense in the league behind only Golden State. Given our stagnant and isolation prone offense, the odds of us being able to crack the Clippers without a career night from multiple people are pretty low.

Let's see how badly we lose this one.

We actually match up with the Clippers well.. So, it should be close game that we probably blow.

Graham added to the injury reported as questionable.

NAW enjoys playing against the clippers...

Seems like the right time to note that the Clips have been playing without their superstar all year as well and still have manage to post a winning record...

They have Paul George having a career season, which helps. Paul George is a top 20 player. They lost their top 10 player and still had a top 20 in reserve. We lost our top 20 and our next best guy is like, 40th. Talent gap is huge.

Graham's out for tonight. You've all complained, and the Pelicans have listened- that's right, Sato is in the starting lineup!

The real question is will Kira or Jose' be the first PG off the bench.

Our offense is just totally bloodless

We got some freakin' dumb players. Our one advantage and we haven't used it yet. JV on the block never gets used to start the game.

Wouldn't go that far but yeah he's been rough since coming back off injury.

In the three games since he got back off injury before tonight, he's averaging 23/4/4 with 0.0 steals and 0.3 blocks a game, 3.3 TOs, on 40/28/95 splits. -1.7 BPM across those three games.

Then he starts off tonight 0/3.

Obviously plenty of time for him to turn it around, and he was good before the injury so maybe he's still just feeling the after effects, but it's not been pretty since he came back.

Flip that - cause we're definitely a lot easier for them to solve and we're having a hard time figuring it out.
