We overachieved for a lot of the game...but Chris Paul didn't even try to score until he wanted to. And then he did.
This outcome was pretty much a given.
Jonas should have had at least a dozen free throws tonight. Every time we fouled the Suns it was continuation, but ours were all "on the floor". I can't believe I wasted my time watching this crap.
I feel bad for Willie Green. He is a good guy and doesn’t deserve this mess.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
You let the young guys play and I like it. I see Griff is letting Willie coach the team.
I still cap Jonas at 35-36 the rest of the season.
Feels like the 1st time in 3 years. We are coaching with a direction. Just develop young guys. Don't desperately win games to spite yourself.
NAW needs them minutes, but his shot got a ways to go to being more consistent.
NAW has to give us more. On both ends of the floor.
If we miss the play in, I want to keep Green, but ******** can Griff.
Yeah, I'm a bit surprised we haven't pull one or two of these close games out yet.
This whole "We are missing our best player" Argument just doesn't work with Zion and this is why Griff needs to go...
1. He shouldn't be your best win share player by a wide margin.
2. When teams are missing their best player... They are also missing up to 30% of their team salary and really working with low salary players.
3. Zion only accounts for $10 million of a $115 million salary sheet.
4. You can't just pin your championship aspirations on one guy. You need a squad of about 7 guys.
Zion isn't the issue. Talent is the issue. Teams miss their best player, but they aren't worst in the NBA bad. You can't just bet on internal growth while all you do is fix mistakes from last year and burn salary for mythical trades.

At this point, is Herb our 4th best player (behind JV)?
So we're down to trotting out our 3rd best player as the feature and surrounding him with bench level guys. Horrible short term.
Long term, JV is great and Herb and Murphy look like NBA starting quality guys. Next year looks bright......if healthy.

Good positive energy.
But also, yo mama's fat.
It’s a fools errand to defend Zion’s production by saying “well, we were missing Zions stats.” He is always injured, you have to plan out your season knowing that he will miss significant time, and as he gets older, and unhealthier, it will become even more of a problem. Trade him now before he turns into Chris Washburn.
Our best player is BI, followed by JV, etc. Zion can’t be counted on, so don’t count him among the best players on the team. He isn’t helping you from the tub.
Looking at Lonzo Ball and Derozan... Mannnn... Chicago fleeced us and SA.
After tonight, plus hearing what the guys said on TNT about Zion, I feel like we have to say this year is prob done and prepare for next to be great. It sucks b/c another year missed but yeah I'm not seeing it. Again, I thought we would've been 3-5 now but we're 1-7.
I like the addition of JV, Graham, Herb and Trey w/ BI and Zion (if he can figure how to work on his weight and health) that's a good start but someone said it, maybe Zion shouldn't be our #1 b/c we have to rely on him too much and it seems he's just not ready for that yet, mentally and physically.
So we need to make a trade or draft for a #1.
Herb Jones had concussion like symptoms. My goodness.
What team is playing tomorrow?
Kira is a bust. Let's get this out of the way. He just doesn't got it.
If NAW can learn to be a team player... He can be solid, but it's disappointing how selfish he plays and shot us out of game multiple times this year.
His green light has always been an issue and I knew he had some bad growing pains. This is just ridiculous. Subpar shooting IQ. He better learn quick.
NAW is a better scorer than technical shooter. He should focus more on high efficiency shots and creating offense.
