That's a nice ten game start to the season if I'm being honest.
Fifteen nationally televised games. Down from last year, but still really high for a small market team. They seem to be more front-loaded, so it seems the league is hedging their bet by not having us on too much down the stretch of the playoff race. I kind of like sliding off the national radar a bit.
First 11 games....
Seven on the road; four at Smoothie King.
More national tv games than any non-'20 playoff team. Including the Bulls. And more than Memphis.
NBA tv also been showing a lot of games from last year this week. They've shown about 4 Pelicans games. Unfortunately all were double-digit lead to 4th quarter collapse variety. Hard to rewatch.
Yeah I'm fine with it. Obviously wish we had one of the league's easiest schedules, but we can't always be too lucky, and this one isn't too bad. Gets pretty soft after Christmas. I feel like 40 wins is on the table.
Basketball.
