Mike Dantoni is elite. But what's Jarron Collin's profile?

Collins was a Golden State assistant last 7 years 14-21, 3 championship rings.

Did Kerr’s work. M.M. Mentioned him a while back. Not a bad pick up

Thing I find interesting: Amar'e Stoudemire made six All-Star appearances and was named All-NBA four times. Four of the All-Stars and three of the All-NBAs were with D'antoni. I am really excited for ideas he'll have with Zion.

I hope you're right. I'm going to guess that all those times with D'Antoni there was a white Canadian guy playing PG that might have helped

Nash is an all time great and there's no doubt about that, but I think people let the 7 seconds or less thing go to their head and forget how creatively coached those Phoenix teams actually were at times.

Yes, it helps a lot to have someone like Nash who can go on the court and control things on a play-by-play basis, but the way Stoudemire got used on those teams wasn't just as a rim runner. There was creativity going on there.

I find it very interesting that people like to use the existence of guys like Harden and Nash to point out how D'Antoni has had all time greats bolstering his career, but are often much less willing to point out that someone like Coach Pop had the exact same benefit with Duncan and Kawhi and Ginobili and David Robinson. For some reason when it's a coach we like, they're a great coach who just had great players, but when it's a coach we're trying to disparage they're actually just being carried by their star.
