Doesn't change the fact that Griff makes the pick. They just grade the prospect. Langdon makes the board. Griff throws darts trying to save his job.

Griff is really a weird POBO/GM. Outside of Adams/Bled I think going back to CLE he's been pretty solid at pulling the trigger on win now deals (which is funny considering he talks about "building organically" all the time now)and has shown he can build a roster around his franchise players in the past from very little(albeit that franchise player being LeBron lol) but, like... can he draft? Is the jury still out on that?

Don’t know why anyone would expect meaningful selections after round 1 in the NBA draft for a team that’s trying to acquire ready now players who can build around the core

It would of been nice to have a player I’ve heard of playing for our brand new G league team. What a dumb move IMO?!? 17: Trey Murphy. Not my first choice but he'll probably be fine. I trust him to be a solid shooter with some movement upside, and he'll be an okay defender even though I don't buy him as high end. Not a huge amount of upside, but he's fine.

Extremely *extremely* underwhelming with pretty poor asset management.

I mean, literally none of those said he was the worst GM in the league.

Funcrushers was literally just asking if the jury was still out on him as a draft guy he even called him ''pretty solid'' at some things. Not even close to calling him the worst GM in the league.

The only one that could really be interpreted as just outright saying he sucks is PelicanNations, which is probably a bit of hyperbole but that's all.

There has to be a plan. Lonzo and all the cap space. I just like young players but I?ll wait to judge after free agency starts

I have a lot of posts, I'm not going searching for them all.

In 2019, I wanted Zion with #1 and then with 8 and 17 I wanted any of Jax or Brandon Clarke at 8 and then Matisse Thybulle at 17. I was fine with the NAW pick as well, saying that he would probably be a fine rotation guard on a playoff team.

Last year I was fine with Kira at 13, though my first choice was actually Tyrese Maxey. With our pick that ended up getting traded around - eventually RJ Hampton'ing - I wanted Desmond Bane (as anyone who was on the board at the time will remember me saying incessantly) or Xavier Tillman Sr, and I was particularly annoyed that Tillman fell to 39th.

This year at 17 I would have taken Springer as my first priority; at 35 I would have taken Jared Butler or Sharife Cooper.
