It's pretty much what I expected, but the fact that long term it's probably not a big deal doesn't change the fact that nobody angling for $20m should be going 1/11 in an NBA game.
    Basketball.

I mean just let the starters stay out on the floor.

I had a feeling that career high game would set up for massive disappointment later.

That was a very nice run and pass for a shot at the end of the half.

Lonzo works on the law of equivalent exchange.

You want him to play good one night, it might happen, but the cost will be a horrendous game shortly after. Like clockwork. The only thing reliable about him is that he's unreliable.

    Great Pass Naji Marshall.

Nice! Another way to say he's extremely inconsistent. Lol!

Please more Naji minutes in the second half.

On the plus side, Ingram and Bledsoe had a much better 2nd quarter than 1st. If they keep that up we may be getting somewhere.

More Naji minutes period esp when Bled is playing horribly.
Bled did well at the end of that half tho.

My slow building PMD(Pelicans Medicority Dementia) has me on board for Lowry and Powell as FA guards.

Get Curry out of this game.
Tell them he has four fouls.

Curry has his 27 and we're 4:30 into the second half.

    40 ball

If we make it close, then he goes 50.

There's this thing that good teams do, where they try and make sure their best offensive players get as many good shots as possible and try to minimise the amount of shots their worst offensive players take outside of their niches.

    Why don't we do that.

Willy really got that hook shot down

Both our offensive and defensive sets are just.....weird

Nothing hurts my soul more than seeing Ingram making a perfect read to pass out to an open guy... For that open guy to be Bled

One of the least fun things about the Pelicans this year - and that is a long list of things - is the number of times Ingram or Zion have made a great read, passed out, and had the shooter either just not bother taking the shot for no reason, or completely brick it. It makes even well run, fluid, confident offensive possessions with good ball movement and accurate reads from developing ball-handlers feel like a waste of time.

I may be ill informed, but I didn't see a foul, and it was inside the restraining area anyway.
